Added some Aluminium sill plates. They look really smart with the Seat Sport logo pressed in the metal, and for £75 you can't go wrong.
Fronts:

Rears:

Also added LED number plate lights. These come as a whole new unit and not just the bulbs. They have resistors built in. Simply unplug the origional housing and replace with the new one, and so far no warning lights ;)

Got up early and went to get my Parrot fitted by Halfrauds...
After having already inspected the car last weekend they said it should be a doddle, but low and behold they "don't have the tools as your car has a CANBUS system..." and "that red ignition lead won't power it off when the ignition is powered off..."
Personally, I can't see what tools he can not have?...
He basically said that as my car works off a CANBUS system, the kit would be on 24/7 if he fitted it, but they do have a 3rd party company who will come and fit it at my home or place of work for £50, not £30...
I smelled a rat when he said there's no extra kit I need that I haven't already bought... which basically translated to "I'm talking bullsh*t and can't be a*sed fitting it today for £30."

Now I intend to fit it myself, to save being defrauded again!

P.s. I WISH Karl Pilkington's 'Bullsh*t Man' had been present! :cop:

My MKi9000 was fitted without ANY extras in my 2010 leon. Can't see what you would need? I haven't had any problems with battery drainage or anything! He connected it to the air con unit so it would have power when the ignition came on, and went off when ignition was off :)

Though so! The cheeky :censored:. [:@]

I'll have a think, but I'll probably connect it to the ignition, see what happens, and then change if need be!

Is there a wiring diagram of the fusebox anywhere?

Drove her to, around, and back from the Lakes. A6 is amazing fun!!
She had a great blast and performed lovely on the bendies for a stock car.

Just cleaned her top to bottom, alloys an tyres cleaned and dressed and windows covered in Turtle Wax ice.

Alloys still look ****...
But car looks great again.
Need to get into polishing/waxing urgently

Gave mine a good wash and wax, then my dad decided while i had the bucket and hose out I could wash my old car too (passed it down to him when i got the Leon)
I blacked the tyres after the pic.

When I get some money I need to have a couple of scuffs sorted and the rest of the car machine polished i think, although the wax hides most of the sins very well.

So I thought I'd stop modding while away in Bavaria but I had nothing to do there and my car has been sat there a while. So I decided to take my front grills off.
Ended up taking my bumper off as the middle grill bottom clips are a nightmare. But got them off in the end and fitted my bumper back in no time.
Gonna fix up my grills spray them glossy black and do the front lip matt black so it stands out more.

let me know how this works out. I want to spray my grills black but wasn't sure how the paint would bite...seeing as it's damn near impossible to sand it down without sand-blasting it.

Cheers

Used lots of autoglym goodies and did this. Very hard to show the leons lines in black, probably my best pic yet if photobucket doesnt re-size it
