I know 2 cars in here, with 6L cupra r oem cooler with ts/fr/cupra bumper.
Custom Pipe work is needed and crash bar needs to be modified to fit cooler
Other options is cupea r twin smic's if you want to use oem parts, this option is expensive and needs lots of work. Or forge fimc, which I have in my TS4, passed mot 3 times.

Vaatii sen verran muutoksia törmäyspalkkiin ja omavalmiste ahtoputkia, mutta yleimallin osista saa ne tehtyä. Sitten ärrän tupla jäähdyttimet on vaihtoehtona, mutta vaatii paljon kalliita osia ja on iso töinen. Sitten tosiaan itse olen forgen jäähyllä päässyt kolmesti jo katsastuksesta läpi kun maalasin sen mustaksi, niin ei paista silmiin.

Much easier here when you can say that it's Seat part and there's part number or so. Non Oem are illegal and I don't want to use +700e for Forge when there is bigger changes that they will notice it in MOT.
Ok, thanks, then I order only that FMIC. Original Cupra R system need too much work and money specially when it ain't even good

Tartteeko siihen törmäyspalkkiin tehdä kiinnikkeitä kummempaa muokkausta? Töiden puolesta saa kyllä siedettävään hintaan SFS silikooniletkut. Toi Forge ois muuten kiva mutta todella suolasen hintanen verrattuna tohon SeatSportin jäähyyn. "/FIN"

First trackday
Yesterday I was on track first time with this car and have to say, damn I love AWD work so damn well. Even when light rain started I didn't have any problems at corners. Only that I could not push car to the limit, it was so different to drive than that previous Toledo and at Ahvenisto race track there is almost non of safety zone.

Wax on, wax off
First proper washing and cleaning for the Leon. Took over 5 hours to do but i'm quite happy with result. Even tought paint is quite bad so it was impossible to get perfect result.
First washing with solvent, then 2 times washing with shampoo and also at same time 2 times washed rims with Sonax rim cleaner.
After drying car with wash leather and microfiber, I do roof and bonnet with claybar and ofcourse after finishing that I had to wash car once more and dry with microfiber and wash leather.
Waxing was quite painfull coz my shoulder is bit broken at the moment. Wax on and then waitning about 10-15 min and start to wax it off. I use frist one coarser cloth to wipe most of the wax off. Then microfiber cloth to wipe it clean. After that I use 2 different cloth to wipe car 2 more times.
Then I had to do interior clean up also. Vacuumed car and use silicone free dash polishing spray and cleaning foam spray to get interior look like it should look

Weekends job is to do TB Cleaning and if I have enough time chagesing oils but which one I should use. Gulf Formula G 5w40 (vag 505) or Gulf Racing 5w-50.
Thanks it should look damn how much there was work to do. Pity that paint is qutie bad shape so that's best of it
. If I have some money left after Bike project I had to take Leon to body shop for painting (Rear quarters and wheel arch)Throttle body off from intakemanifold and claning it. Bought today new gasket for it and ofcourse TB calibration with VCDS. I nowdays use Gulf coz company where I work is importer of it
so much cheaper for me and still good stuff
Spend again time at garage but this time Leon didn't get my attention. Little bit hurry with this one, because engine and transmission parts arrived just at custom.

Only problem is that coz it's looking "fast" so I have to make it fast and that will cost me alot. Now I have decided that when bike is ready I will bought Ibizas Seat Sport FMIC and hope that it will help little bit.
Boring update: Oil Service done. Decided to use Gulf Formula G 5w40, instead Gulf Racing 5w50 because Formula G have VAG 505 approval.
Bought new DV or it's loaned at the moment first have to check that it will fit

New DV installed and n249 bypass done.
Short loging session with VCDS and notice something that I didn't want to notice I'm missing at least 10 hp and at least 50Nm.
Max Intake air mass: 164,92 g/s and boost only 1710 (0,71bar = ~10psi)
Max torque: 313,6Nm only and there should be over 350-370Nm
Best peak boost was: 2270 (1,27bar = ~18,4psi)(and it was just once there)

Bike project starts truly now, engine is ready from repair. Have to pick it up today
Panels are better than they use to be but not perfect.
And Leon related update also, damn it's "loud" with new DV and N249 bypass... Now I have to get more power coz it sound like powerful car

Motorbike project
Non-Leon related update. Get my bikes engine finally from shop, so after one car project I started to fix my bike. It was something like 9pm when I started assembly and after 2am I had to stop assembly and go to sleep.
Engine going back to frame
It's there (took less than hour to get it to this point)
Carburetors and small stuff
and more small stuff and exhaust system, radiator+hoses etc.
Still a lot to do but looking quite good at this point. Let's hope that my baby will run again

was it in for tuning/modification? what performance numbers are you expecting?
I want a bike myself, but at these altitudes I'm better off with a snowsled!
Transmission fixing, next winter I will changes carburettors to 1000cc GXS-R Throttlebodies and KMS fuelmanagment. Possible race cams and big bore kit. Now it's pushing something like 120-130hp at wheel (I have previos owner dyno papers some where at home).
