After almost 4 weeks the rain held off and I washed and polished the car.

Tried getting some of the swirling out of my paint earlier. It's going to be a much bigger job than I thought!

You not fit the heatshield Buzz? I also see you've left the snorkle in there from the standard intake? Looks good though and I am glad your screws work, did they come with the kit or are they the stock ones from the OEM system?

Figured the airbox will help direct some air form oem air feed location

The screws were the wrong type, they are the self tapping type that screw into the the plastic engine cover. The itg screws that screw into the metal pipework are allen bolts

Im not convinced on how efficient the heatshlield is, what are your thoughts Jase?

I have stuck my hand inside the compartment after a good drive and tbh the air in there is cold versus the other side where the engine is so I think it should be doing something, that said, while the car is in motion I guess there is not much difference? Here is a vid of the turbo flutter caused by the kit now. I am addicted to it hehehehe

Washed & waxed the car yesterday, but came across some worrying paint work issues - that seem to have appeared within a couple of weeks...

Doesn't feel like a rough/matte finish which can be caused by contamination, more bobbly.

I've got some contamination on the rear off-side door, which I've no doubt some clay will sort out, but not sure what to try on the door in the photo - clay or perhaps some t-cut?

Any ideas?
