Leon Tdi FR 170 owners - Milltek DPF removal downpipe

hi my names harry im new to this site ive just had the dpf removed and had the software and a remap on my leon fr td for £800inc vat it is fully lifetime warranted it was at a garage in newton abbot devon called old mill garage, now i really wanna get the r&r as the chap said he thinks it should be pushing 210bhp i cant reccommend this garage highly enoth they collected it and delivered it from exeter (bout 25 miles each way) if any one needs ther number its 01626 364088 ask to speak to kennie or ruari they sorted me out now no stupid light on the dash and goes like f***

You will probably find "kennie or ruari" turns out to be Harry!

Mine was this morning so on a cold day probably a round 300.

Turned off my radio and reached 301 bhp on route to work!

Hows your car running now any problems?

Mine is running good! Did you change the gasket for EGR? I did and it has increased the mpg a little on between 50-60 mph! Must have covered around 10,000 miles so far without any issues!

Good job my car is a 08 plate!

Any problems with the car? Have you had your car RR yet?

Still going well.

No lag from regen process any more.

Its my wifes car so not had it rolling roaded and even 170bhp was enough for her.

Its a lot quicker than it was before.

Went through MOT with no advisories or issue BTW.

a hole is cut in exhaust above dpf filter .filter removed exhaust welded up ,soft ware for sensors sorted out and then remap .about 2 hours work. car runs like a dream . gaurantee 4 life also m.o.t pass check out ecuflash.co.uk. my car should be about 240 bhp now with mpg gains

S H A R K have nailed the DPF delete! Their dyno I reckon is quite accurate! Also S H A R K have some great results! Ask Andrew JB and he will tell you!

Oh was speaking to a MOT tester and he says it going to be time until DPF have to be part of the MOT the CAT now is at the moment! The only saving grace is that if they cannot find it then they will have to ask the customer and the customer can point to anything that resembles a CAT or DPF and it will pass!

Had mine done at JBS and still happy! However looking at Andrew JB and may want to go to S H A R K!

to be honest i was thinking of using S H A RK as they have some very good feedback,

jbs seem a bit hit and miss..............my friend is a mate of the dude who owns ***** (used to do some detailing at there old unit) so might be able to blag some discount

i also no a friendly mot tester if needs be

Glad I read this..... I'm going to have a Miltek downpipe and system fitted with DPF delete and remap!!... Custom Code... or *****, will I see better gains and more reliability with *****? Is it possible to have a switchable map... like one for economy and one for pure grunt??... how much would this cost roughly?

Why not go to gti springfest at Santa pod in a few weeks get ***** to put stage 1 on there normally half price at the shows so about £179. Then book the dpf after as a existing ***** customer the dpf delete is only about £320 iirc.
