Drove down to Gunwharf Quays for the morning with the Wife. Got 34mpg there and back!
filled up with Shell V Power afterwards to see how that goes for a tank (bloody expensive! )
Couldn't believe regular unleaded was 1.43 in Portsmouth, compared to 1.37 up my way

Decided to give the car a snowfoam clean after getting all my equipment delivered during the week.

Also went to fill it up with Vpower Diesel for the first time but being an idiot i went to the wrong shell station which would not accept my voucher so ended up paying £1.51per litre instead of the expected £1.41 :(

O well next time I will go to the right one lol

Changed discs, pads and brake fluid. Oil change and then struggled with wheels and had to dash to get wheel spacers to make the wheels clear the calipers lol.

Washed and polished it myself for the first time, using all autoglym stuff and borrowed jet washer. It is very satisfying doing it but you notice all the tiny chips scratches etc looks well now though after polish. Nearly started raining at one point!

Yesterday removed my gearbox to fit my uprated Sachs clutch to find my flywheels knackered at 9000 miles had to refit the gearbox until I source a new one as I need the car for work.
I can hear the flywheel rattling now must be due to the new clutch not having any springs in the drive plate.
So guess what I'm doing next weekend!

Took 2hrs to do but the results were amazing! Too dark to take any pictures, so will try and get some tomorrow (if the wife hasn't killed me as I left her with the kids on mother's day :D )

After someone stole a bit of my K1 trim about a month ago I got a new one that has been on for the last two weeks or so - washed it and took it to mcdonalds :)

drove down to ferryhill and picked up a ebay item, then went and dumped a old broken wardrobe at tip (that was fun getting in the leon :) ) and sold a couple of computer things.

Dropped the kids off and went to find a disused building to take some pictures after the cleaning session yesterday.

I'm quite pleased with the results, just need to get myself a DA, as there's a few swirls and light scratches.

Got it up to 160mph yesterday (GPS actual speed) :)

Not bad for 1.3miles.

Anyway, the moral of this story is the speedo only goes to 160 on the TFSI Sport, and it stops moving at 165mph (indicated)

Dan - How does the speed test work? Is it standstill to 1.3 miles and measured speed taken at 1.3 miles?
