Yeh 400lb.ft is quite abit but its already running 350-360lb.ft so stage 3 Turbo kit might push it over

So ive just got back from a new tuner who i cant name on here, My cars been in the safe hands of Mikko and Rob today.

Overview
We discovered that the original DPF Delete map (Quoted figures of upto 240bhp) only truly made 180-185bhp on most rolling roads, I however had a newer version of the DPF Delete and that made 206bhp on most rollers. My friend Graeme (BIGG Addicted) went down to the new tuner with his Original DPF Delete map and that made 180bhp so he got the new tuner to tune it and made 227bhp, when we went out in his car it felt amazingly fast compared to mine.

I acquired a STS Device (Above Post)last week ready to get re-tuned, My car now has 3 levels of tune (Switchable via STS)

1. Stage 0 DPF Delete, Simply turns the DPF off, gives minimal gains
2. Stage 2 DPF Delete, Similar to my old Map , About 10bhp more, This map is for daily use
3. Stage 2+ DPF Delete, Very Very Very Smokey, Gives about 12bhp more than Stage 2, Far to smokey to use on the road , 1/4 Mile use

Stage 2 map is alot smoother than the original Map, Pulls harder and feels stronger, EGR Light has also been turned off now

Small world, I was there around 4 with my Vrs. I was going to ask you what you were having done. I too have the dolphin DPF removal with all the smoke. It doesn't go half bad does it!

That's correct, I had the most potent map available at the time of DPF. It was the first batch of the none stutter maps that Mikko did. It's not the 2+ full blow job, and to be honest I'm glad, because it smokes like chimny as it is. Also I can't use 2nd gear, nevermind 1st, so anymore power would make aceleration almost impossible. How much grip do you have? Your tyres must chirp in third? You wait till it's wet. I've had mine break traction in 5th on wet greasy road with an incline. lol

The Silver 57 plate with tints, standard 18s and your haircut. I need to sort my engine mounts out, they are pretty shagged tbh. W-ALK wouldn't be a bad idea either.

So..... Ive been pondering for a while replacing this car, Couple of reasons why! Firstly i do about 12 miles a day which doesn't really warranty a Diesel, Even at a proven 230bhp the car needs more power, Looked long and hard at the Garrett GTB2260VK kit but im abit worried that the car will be unreliable if i was to push it to 270-300bhp, And the problem is its my daily driver.

My Good friend Graeme (BIGG Addicted) informed me he was selling up the other day, Me and Graeme have been through it all with regards to the DPF Deleting on these PD170's and then it got me thinking..... Can i afford a Cupra

So ive put a deposit down today.............on a MK2 Leon Cupra R

Big problem ive got now is getting this car back to standard... its hardly an easy job, Most of the parts off this car will be fitted onto the LCR with the exception of the EGR and DPF Equipment

Haha there's still a few more out there! Some of the cars out there are alot more rapid than ours

Tom. has got a PD130 ibiza thats running close to if not 300bhp
T.Spark's stripped out PD130 is alot rapid as its power to weight ratio is high
