So today was the day, Car went into MK SEAT to have 4X Injectors and 1x Wiring Loom done Free of Charge, Paid for by SEAT UK.

My new ride for the day, Ibiza 1.2TDI

I gave it abit of a spirited drive and it still managed this

Phoned MK SEAT at 16:50 and they said shes all finished!

Not a penny to pay! Not bad for a car thats out of warranty .



The car actually feels different, The old Injectors must of been abit blocked after over 3 years of abuse

Did they notice that you had a DeDPF and did they touch the ECU?

Hows the warranty stand when you've changed parts of the car to aftermarket?

Right ladies and gentlemen my car has been away for a week, Special Tuning Racing STR who run Tom Boardmans BTCC car (Who im very good friends with now) asked myself and FSiLeonMike to lend them our cars, They then took them to Scorpion Exhausts in Derby and are soon to be unveiling a new Cat-Back system for the MK2 Leon (Full System for Cupra/K1 will be available later in 2012) so our cars have been used to test etc.The Cat-Back systems are made by Scorpion but will be STR Branded.

Here's the results

All the systems will be numbered (expected to be 100) but both mine and mikes are number #00

Now the STR cat back system will be Non-Resonated but as a special one off they have made Non-Resonated and Non-Boxed which means my car now sounds like the Devil is escaping everytime i tap the accelerator!

As you running a sports cat or decat, or is it only cat back you have?

My Current set up is:

Milltek DPF Downpipe (No DPF) so basically straight through.
Then Scorpion/STR Straight through exhaust

So no boxes/no DPF/ No Cat

Ive tried to get videos but all as they pick up is turbo whistle and not the exhaust note/boomyness

Car originally had a DPF only, New Diesels dont have cat's or if they do its built into the DPF
