Well here is a few things that I have done to my car over the past week or two. Sorry about the state of the car, will be getting a really good wash and polish at the end of the week. BEWARE!! loads of PICTURES :p

Painted rear badge, its not finished yet but this is it so far

Over the weekend I had the idea of taking my seats out completely and giving the car a really good hoover and clean, I forgot to get a pic of the finished result but will get one up soon.

I ordered two new SCN stickers so am now part of the club again :)

Last year I bought a secondhand K&N apollo univeral induction kit/air filter then put it in the shed and forgot about it. Last week I decided I would try and fit it, after scratching my head and a lot of measurements, pictures and asking advice on here I got round to ordering some sillicon hose, breater filter, joining pipes and clips. Here is before

And here is after

As a few of you will know, I finally got my JOM coilovers fitted yesterday. Here is a pic of what the ride hight was like as standard

And here is what it looked like after

I have since wound down the front another 5 threads each side, after a lot of counting of threads and measureing I think I have it the same each side :) It still hasnt settled yet I dont think so hopefully it will be a bit lower. Here is some pics after I wound them down

Tell me what you think so far people. Any suggestions on what I could do next? Would be best if the next few mods were cheapish as I dont really have much money atm.

Looks loads better now you've wound the front down some more. Give it a few weeks to settle then adjust as necessary.
Only cheap thing I can think of is to spray the grill surround and paint the front badge in green to match the wheels.

Car's looking properly smart though dude, love the fr front bumper with the LCR splitter, only time i've seen it work on a mk5

Liking the K&N induction on that!

Car is looking so smart now, perfect ride height too actually.
IMO the green goes perfect with it.

Thanks :) I'm still not sure if I want the front lower or not lol. In really impatient and want it to settle now lol. I was thinking about the front grill and thought I hold paint the badge black and possible the outside edge green? Then spray the chrome grill surround black. The two intake bits on the bumper either side of the number plate I was thinking of getting Simeon to wrap them in the same colour green vinyl?? Whats you opinions people?

I have only seen one other fr bumper with a LCR splitter on and I really liked it so decided to fit one before I changed the bumper. One of my mates said to do that in green but I'm not sure. Need to get some photoshopping done lol. Thanks again :)

It was a paint to fit the silicon pipes lol. I ordered two 90 degree pipes and one 45 degree reducer pipe. Had to cut so much off the pipes to get it to fit ok. Next time I might got for green pipes if I can find some but that won't be until the end of the year.

Thanks I'm liking it a lot ATM and find it funny coz the ride is bouncy but firm so I'm always bouncing around in the car and when I get out I just feel the need to bounce whilst walking lmao. I'm loving the green but want wider wheels on the back but want the wheels I got if that makes sense. Cant wait for gti international although it looks like I will be going on my own at the moment so will be a loner all day lol. Will still enjoy it thou lol

Nice matey looks really smart. Ive got an induction kit on the long list of things to do :p nice job

p.s. what is the size of the breather hose you have in red?

Thanks. It was a pain to fit lol the pipes had to be cut short 6 times lol. Sounds more beefy when I rev the engine and when I accelerate. I think it's a 15 or 16mm one. I ordered the wrong one to start with so email the bloke to see if I could get the bigger one but I can't remember what one it was. I will have a look a bit later on and will let ya know for sure :)

Yeah I know what you mean with the alloys. One of my friends seems to think its the best place on the planet for car stuff. Its funny when I see his car coz I can see where the aftermarket parts were in the shop lol

Seriously don't even worry about that, I drove from mine up to the services where we meet on my own! Had no one in my car and just hung out with Loz the entire day, so feel free to join us.

Try being the only girl when we met at the services too :p lol, is a great day though.

Saw a black cupra bumper on ebay the other day, its gone already. I wouldn't get it though as it needed half the grilles and the smaller grille. Plus was black, I still check back everyday though for another FR bumper primed or white lol.

I really need to do my boot handle but i'm so worried about removing it and putting it back in.

Random note, if you were thinking about ever getting a spoiler I think you should leave it IMO. Black and the way the car is at the moment the back looks perfect.
