Hopefully all will be fine once they have bedded in :) Just for example:

Reverse rake, looks terrible:

Forward rake, looks a lot better:

Forward rake is functional too ;)

Yeah hopefully. My mate was telling me how he had put JOMs on a BMW 3 series estate, put it on a car trailer went to the local race track, took it off the trailer then ended up not taking it round the track but when it came to putting the car back on the trailer it was to low so he had to take the front bumper off lol

Thanks :) its a different kind of ride to the standard suspension that I had on the car. It's not like my mums 1.4 sport like your but it's still kind of firm if that makes sense

yeah the factory sport suspension is quite a firm on my ibiza, i've never been on uprated suspension on any of my previous cars, so when i get my coilovers soon it should be a different ride altogether.

Yeah and my car is black too lol, so confused what to get next for the motor lol got half a milltek sitting here lol might get it fitted or get coilovers and my rotiform wheels or get map **** its difficult lol

HOw is the handling with the Joms?

That would be another reason it wasn't you then lol. Haha m trying to be sensible for a few months and not buy any more mods or bits for my car as I need to get out of my dreaded overdraft lol.

The handling isn't to different to the standard suspension I had on the car. The ride isn't crashy like my mums mk4 1.4 sport but it's not as soft as the standard suspension.

The only other car I have been in with aftermarket suspension is a L reg merc c220 lol, my brothers mk5 golf gti is probably near to what mine feels like now. well it probably depends on what coilovers you go for, your probably better asking someone who has dealt with coilovers more than me lol. But I would recommend the JOM kit for the mk5 if you only want lows

Thats one thing I'm hoping the coils will sort on my car. I know Its going to be more stiffly sprung, but the crashy nature of the ride should be sorted

It probably depends on what coilovers you go for and how low you go I should think. I don't like the crashy ness of my mums mk4 at all. If my mum is taking me anywhere. Always tell her to take the Audi coz its just a smoother ride lol

I'm getting used to it, avoiding potholes like the plague! I have no idea, a set of AP's maybe. Just depends on how much money I have left after wheels and tyres. I'm going as low as is sensible and then quite a bit more so I'm not expecting much from the ride tbh!

yeah i only want to go low to achieve the hellaflush look, been looking at weitec hicon gt coilovers but they are £580, my mate ran kw coilovers on his impreza & he said they are good coilovers to have cause weitec are made by kw.

Lol maybe if I had to go in my mums car more then I would get used to it but as I rarely go in it I find it terrible lol.

I just went for the JOMs coz all I wanted was lows and it's all I could afford at the time. I have a few big plans for the car in a few years time and if the plans go ahead then I will go for a better set but for now the JOMs seem fine :)

I suppose I might just be used to the roads around here. Driving in Scotlands like driving down a rally stage sometimes, but with bigger holes! Its hard and crashy but coped well with some single track half gravel half potholes road :)

I know what you mean though, I've probably driven it enough to get used to it and if I got back in my mums 206 it would feel all floppy :p

Sounds good, I have some wind deflectors but I took them off because I had scratches all over them and hated it, need to try get the scratches out lol. I really want the black cupra/boc lights but it's a pain to change from h4 wiring to h7 so that will be a job for the future. Yeah i got them from dpm but you might need to get shorter drop links, I went for the adjustable ones that dpm sell just to be sure they fit.

Oh kl, well when I asked a question on here about if the JOM kit was any good I got a lot of people telling me not to bother but tbh I haven't found a problem with them at all. The are my first coilovers but as I said, they seem absolutely fine :)
