Just godt back from a ski trip to Austria today, and HAD to check the thread
AWESOME once again, and for the love of god, please dont assume we dont wanna see "boring" pictures, it's really great to have pictures and nice to follow step by step.

Just take the propshaft of and hope they dont se the difference xD

Slow on updates as i have been sick but will continue next week.
Also needed to order one new rear Driveshaft. or i could have just bought a new inner joint but got a complete driveshaft cheaper than just that parts.. Should arrive on Monday or tuesday

Sounds nice you arent gonna hide the pics away, because i realy enjoy following this projekt. especially the 4x4 stuff.
when you are done with the 4x4 i rly would like a talk with you, maybe take a little ride to sweden and see it if its for show

I couldnt stand sitting home no more so i went to the garage yesterday to get little done.
feel much better but still not 100%

Sorry for some bad quality pics. My phone isnt the best :/

But i atleast finally cutted a hole in the boot floor and test mounted the steel subframe.
Will test the Alu also but we need to be 2 to get it upp easy. hope that fits good also or i just have to cut some more.

Then demounted the front subframe and cleaned the parts.

Feels better to mount clean parts later.


Next I have to do is to take down the S3 Gearbox, and clean it off and also open it up
to check if the Quaife i have in the Cupra FWD GearBox is the same.

I asked Quaife and they think it is the same but dont know 100% so got a drawing and also have the old OEM Diff from the Cupra gearbox to check with, To be sure it will fitt and i dont open the diffed cupra box if not needed.

If it isnt the same i will try to sell the cupra box with the diff in it, but hope it fits.


Like this it looks there right now. quite much parts but still not everything haha

Still not feeling good.
Besides that i am also trying to find a new work so havent been and worked with the car as much i have wanted lately. :/ But have had little done atleast.

also still waiting on Turbo to come as there was some missunderstandning about the order and what turbo and so. But should be on the way now or very soon.

Started to clean of the worst mess from the gearbox.

Test fitted Fueltank.

It fits good but need to do little modification on the flor with a hammer.

and also need to do 2 new bolt holes

the Fueltank i bought was missing the fuel filler pipe.

first i was going to cut of the one from my oem tank and connect somehow to this tank.

but i checked under the Leon Supercopa racecar thats in the same garage to check what tank they use on them as they have double intank pumps i saw on the info brochure..

turns out they use the Quattro/4motion tank. exactly like the one i have but complete with pipe But on that they have extra fuelfilling things for fast fuelstops as seen on these pics.

But Easier to fix that than the thing on the other tank..
So we did these parts. with a gasket betven them should be thight

Forgott to take picture but also Mounted the USP Stage 3 Auxilary pump in tha tank.
And It was a hell to get it right haha

Fuelpumps and so mounted in tank and ready to be mounted on the car

also cutted out the metal piece that we will weld in the boot floor.

Also found an interresting thing on the net, the Polarfis advance module that can be connected to instrumentcluster to get live data from ECU. Will be nice to have controol on everything and maybe dont need the computer and vagcom with me to se and logg things when i want

Only thing was that i only have the smal display and to get that thing working i need the big display..

So bought a instrument with big display...

well that about where i am right now.
Hope the Turbo things will show upp soon and also that i can stop beeing sick so i can continue at full speed again..

sorry for being bad on updates. Just have had so much other things lately so havent been and worked with the car as much id want to.

But heres a couple of pics.

Fueltank Donor Seat leon Supercopa

Tank test fitted.. Need to do 2 bolt holes for it to get the second strap on..

Started to fit and weld the flor. now it is completly welded and fitted. Just some paint and body left to put on.. we welded it all around so everything is stiff and so..

Also got the rear piece of exhaust ready to fitt.

wonder what will be done with this car A brand new Skoda with less than 50km on it.
not my car but my friends who helps me little with my car, but thats another story haha

not a big update im afraid still waiting on turbo bits from USA to be able to continue..
Maybe this weekend or latest next wekend atleast all hardware should be fitted and bolted upp on the car.. then just some electronics left to sort out...
wonder how that will end upp
