Popped over to Barn's last night to gap his plugs to suit the new coils and did some logs on his to see how it was looking.
After doing his we had a quick spat out in mine to see how mine was doing
Interestingly i hit limp mode during the one run, with the fault code of maximum charge pressure exceeded
Normally log upto about 6k rpm but thought id take it to the start of the red line for a fuller log since the g/s are rising still when i let off
Anyway with the new big filter on i'm seeing the engine start to back off % load to about 50% just before 6k rpm but producing top end of 190's.
Could 200g/s be flowing too much air for OE map??
Only change recently is filter and at high rpm boost starts to rise slightly, hence limp mode, any other causes as back to back logs with panel filter only showed this on the green filter?

Could be but with the normal airbox it read about what you'd expect
MAF isnt descreened so not turbulent air passing it
MAF's normally under read over time, i wouldnt expect it to go to the other extreme
I dont have another proven one to swap it with though

they can over read, the effects are just as bad as under reading. i wouldnt say its sucking in too much air, its only taking in the air it needs. i guess its best if you could borrow a maf and see what difference that makes. by the way i ordered a set on inconel exhaust valves in the end :D ron i was going to ask you something, can you make some sort of alloy box to mount a wmi kit in, it will live in the boot?

I still have a couple of battery boxes left i made so if you give me the measurements i can see if it will fit
I have to say it does feel much quicker, but that could just be due to the low temps we're getting at the moment
Good move with the uprated valves, i didnt want to keep suggesting better options as i know you didnt want to have to uprate them

Boxes are the same size as the battery (LxW) but height is only to the where the lid seals on the battery.
I can measure it tomorrow but cant remember of the top of my head.
The original 5083 prototype was sealed as well just incase anything leaked out
I was going to ask about the manual tensioner kit you got too as i think that is yet another thing i need to look at

thanks ron. i will get the wmi kit out tomorrow and compare it to the size of my battery. i bought the Ie timing belt kit for 2 reasons, first being the same price as a normal kit here, and secondly i like the look of it, ok i know its a timing kit but bling bling :) what do you want to know about it? i can get you some close up pics tomorrow if you like.

I was speaking to Phill who bought just the tensioner but said there was another part he needed to be able to fit it
Some closer 'bling' pics would be nice

The extra flow of the green cone is most likely increasing boost beyond OE map presures which the n75 is struggling to control. Why are you still on OE map, your missing out.

Cheers for the input guys, not heard of many others having these problems but not many stay with an OE map very long anyway.
I'll be waiting until the stroker is fitted before any sort of software adjustments are done and the engine has been bedded in.
Barney i can only be gay if i run a k03s, k04 is for manly men not the shirt lifting batty boys on k03s
Cheers for the link to the tensioner kit phill as i was too lazy to peruse IE's site
