First on my todo list today was rip out the crapy bluetooth thing stuck to my dash that is for some 1980 Nokia phone?.. (how usefull)
Consequence: I now have no light on my boost gauge as the power came from the Bluetooth kit wiring harness!:-o bodge!!!
Any one know of any easy point to jack a live and earth from, preferably ignition switched so it's only on when the ignition is on?

Then i Cleaned and polished the car and used supa guard paint sealant all over.. You can probably see the shine from space now :D

Last but not least i ripped off the old broken vr6 splitter and fitted spanking new cupra R one :p

Happy Days

I fitted a Parrott MKi9200 yesterday. Wanted to keep the OEM interior look but also wanted bluetooth/ipod capabilities. This ticked all the boxes. fitted the screen over the 'airbag off' light on the centre console which I aways thought looked crap.

I'm trying to put a custom background on it, if I'm successful I'll put up a pic.

what headunit are you using then?? if that unit pairs up to the standard stereo i could be interested in one of these kits

It's the standard Aura CD. The box supplied with the Parrott unit is plug and play and gives you all the capabilities of an aftermarket headunit with a still OEM feel.

I've gotten rid of the CD changer and fitted the sleeve so my ipod fits in there nicely and I have full control of it via the steeringwheel control.

Meant to get a pic yesterday but had to go out and get the missus a new car. I'll get a pic tonight.

To clarify. The Parrot basically takes over your audio when you're playing music through your ipod (at much better quality than the oem sterio btw). The radio does not even need to be on for the Parrot to work.

When you are not playing music through the Parrot it does nothing and you can play the radio as normal until you get a call when the Parrot takes over again, cuts the audio from your stereo and manages the call. When the call is over your radio comes back on. It's seamless.

Hope that makes sense, anyway pics. Have a custom background of a photo I took. Thinking of photoshopping something in the same colour as the interior lights so it blends in a bit better.

I found it very difficult to decide on where to place my parrot in my leon.

What made you choose there out of interest?
