found a hole in my brake servo hose which may be the cause of my dragging brakes, also discovered never let so called specialists touch your car

gave it a good wash, hoovered the hell out of the inside, installed a new MAF, topped it up with some v-power, running better than it ever has done, happy days!

Tested out my new vagcom for windows 7 set that all up :)

Cleared the boost leak fault code, reset the TB and then drove it round the block, scanned it again to check the code has gone and for the throttle body to adjust slightly. Then put it back to bed :)

MOT is next on the list within 2 weeks..

Finally fixed my leaking doors (all 4!) and mopped up the footwells. Now I just need to take it for a long, long drive with the heaters on full blast and hopefully I wont need to scrape the ice off the inside of the windows again tomorrow!!

Good job done :)

If you want to save some petrol and miles on your car, get a dehumidifier in there running gently for a day or so :)

I did consider this but I don't know anyone with a de-hum. I might stick a fan heater in there with the window open for a few hours tomorrow, that should do the trick. :)

You might appreciate the height of the splitter tbh. Mine needs to be replaced twice a year due to ramps and speed bumps etc. You never get used to that scraping noise!

I fitted a Parrott MKi9200 yesterday. Wanted to keep the OEM interior look but also wanted bluetooth/ipod capabilities. This ticked all the boxes. fitted the screen over the 'airbag off' light on the centre console which I aways thought looked crap.

I'm trying to put a custom background on it, if I'm successful I'll put up a pic.

After a spate of robberies of quick cars locally recently I deciced to install a tracker. My mate works for a commercial tracking company so I was offered one of their units. It has a lot of really cool features and indipendant GPS and GSM relays. Slick unit.
