Hi James,

I agree on the quality of the throttle body cover, I've not fitted it yet, I'm planning on painting the throttle body first. Its quite a snug fit so the tape should do the job but I'll be keeping an eye on it once fitted.

Cheers for the comment on the diffuser, its holding up well at the moment although I've not used the car much recently due to being away with work. I'm going to try and get the splitter off next, hopefully without damaging it,so I can finally get that painted black too.

Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year too mate.

Richard

Good choice mate. I had a set of Mintex 1144 pads on when I first fitted the discs however am finding the ferodo pads work better with these. Awesome stopping with both pads but the ferodo have the benefits of no grinding when cold, no sqeaking noises on light breaking (so far) and seem to better with regards to producing less dust

Liking that mate, good going

Thanks mate

One of my favourite bay's on the forum.

Great work Rich, looking very very tidy :)

 cheers mate, makes the effort worth it.

to be honest I'm not to happy with the look of the cold air feed from the foglights, I may just get rid of it and get some mini foglights to fit. Also means I would have to make a new heat shield:doh:

The cold air feed looks ok from here bud. But if you're not happy then consider alternatives.

I wouldn't go changing the heatshield though, that looks so 'at home' in this bay.

Really hope you can make the next AmD mate, would love to see this car in the flesh. This is one of a few I can say that for IMO :)

The throttle body cover looks very at home Richard!

I didn't want to clog up your thread with pictures, but I have my twin air feed routed through the gap between the front bumper and the side wing (same place as where the intercooler pipework lives), and this leads to the air filter besides the battery. I used 100mm neoprene ducting but for the bit that is visable in the bay, I used some SS tubing and Forge piping (but not necessary); the point is that there's room if you wanted to have a play around and you can achieve a fairly un-noticeable look. Furthermore, the twin-feed's function is pretty good, over other options IMO.

Can I ask, what was the pipe diametre for the red piping that leads from the manifold to the coolant tank (brake servo bits i think...), etc? Also, is the diametre the same as the piping you've used from the throttle body? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you had a good Christmas buddy?

James.
