It currently sits from the floor to the to of the arch at:
front - 645mm
rear - 640mm

Looks good mate :D
Mine sat around the same hight and I had real problems with the front going light at speed, I raised the back so it sat level and it cured the problem, it's suprising what 5mm can do at motorway(ish) speeds

Looks really good lower Rich! Very nice.

[B)]looking nice buddy,

Cheers for the comments, I'm really pleased with the way it drives:D although every time I look at it I cant help thinking how much better its going to look with the spacers on, luckily mine are in the house:D

Just put the car in the yard for the first time since its been lowered, it was a pain at standard ride height as even at that height it was too low! its in now though ready for my week off when I'm hoping to get a few things done!

t0m have you got the love back yet?

Spacers will make the car buddy! Lowering is one step, but getting the stance and 'mean' look these cars naturally have from front on is finished off by spacers in my opinion..

It's looking good though mate keep it up.

And on you're question, I have mate. I'm still clearing this stupid knock sensor fault but come this payday I'll book her in to have the sensor replaced and all wiring checked as it can be to do with that too so I've read.

Mine hadn't been cleaned since she was detailed and mud at Brands Hatch while watching the DTM got the car in a complete mess inside and out.. Safe to say I cleaned her today and was very impressed to see the wax my detailing mate put on was still there in abundance. Water just runs off even nearly 2 months later.. I'm going to update my RR in a mo will be some pics in there from today.

I've fiited the spacers, 11mm on front and 16mm on the rear.

To fit them I started by wire brushing the hub and greasing the face of the hub, wheel and spacer. I then fitted the spacer and refitted the wheel, greased the bolts and tightened them as much as I could (whilst making sure that the hub, spacer and wheel were all fitting flush). Dropped the car back down and tightened the bolts up properly. I then took the car for a drive, once I returned home I checked all the bolts (it is possible for some of them to work loose).

Gave the car a clean today (the best I could with the rain):

And refurbished my brembos:

I'm getting my wheels refurbished next month with money I got off the missus for my birthday.

Checked my piggy bank to see if I can still afford to go to AMD and:

Unfortunately not, I've slightly overspent recently:cry: (I think we can all agree it was worth it though). If any of the South East lads are reading, I will be wanting to make it down in the future, hopefully early next year if you have another day at AMD.

Cheers for reading:D

Shame about the RR day mate. But at least the car is getting the treatment on the plus side!

I'm sure they'll be another one early next year so keep your eyes peeled. :)

Looks great mate. Do the tyres catch at all???

Cheers mate. The tyres dont catch, they might if I slam it but that wont ever happen. I'm happy with it the way it is.

Tom's right! It absolutely transforms the leon's appearance. The stance is spot on and the flushed look, I love. Directly from the front and the rear, it looks great with the spacers on. How it should have rolled out of the factory...

Just a bit of advice with regard to the twin air feed. Make sure that it clears the two fans, as they are exposed with no guard. I had to really tuck it under the FMIC to achieve clearance (100mm neoprene). Wouldn't want you to burn out the fan motor. I found that a good fixing point, to keep it tucked in, was the bracket that had previously been a fixing point for the SMIC connecting pipe.

I'm sure it's dandy Richard, but just thought I would post this advisory just in case.

The car is looking nice and sleek in its debadged state (from the side) [B)] Gloss black wheels to match the gloss black S badge and grills

Top work buddy :)

Cheers James,

The lower part of the air feed has been there for about a month now with no bother, I've finally got around to finishing it off. To be honest I took the idea from your air feed, it runs exactly where the OEM SMIC pipe ran.

In regard to the wheels I really want to go High Power Silver but I'm still not sure if I should go darker as the grills (as you mentioned) are black:shrug:, I need some help! Anthracite has been done and I dont fancy black:help:
