Also heard good things about Millers to. The likes of Forte or Millers should only be used periodically as an intensive cleaner if you like. Something like RedEx used more frequently aparantly has some positive effects.

About 70 and then you either get the light mapped out or drive around with light on

Update-

After fitting the Darkside Development's EGR Delete the Stuttering i used to experience had completely gone, I have just completed a drive from Milton Keynes to Knockhill and back which is like 766+ miles and havent once had the stutter happen (Previously it would certainly happen atleast twice)

The stutter in 1st and 2nd gear when launching still happend and obviously wasnt connected to the EGR, my car went back to JBS the other day for an updated version of the WILD Map and since i havent managed to make it stutter in 1st or 2nd, the car now feels like it has less torque in 1st or 2nd but feels like it has more torque further up the Rev range

i think now i might be able to acheive better quarter mile times

kilner, that doesnt sound like the normal PD stutter, mine only ever did it in first in traffic really

Mines around 1500rpm in first then sometimes around 2000-2200 in 2nd and sometimes in 3rd. It drives me mad. btw i agree with the jbs comment, I had faith in them at first but i noticed since my last vist they dont seem interested in you once they have done the work and have your money.

i think your problem is removing the Cooler, alot of people are running EGR Delete without any problems at all so that would suggest the cooler removal is the problem

i thought your map was "Stutter Free" or atleast thats how they advertise it :cartman:

I know this has been running for some time, but just to be clear - I suffer stuttering occassionally when car is running at 3rd/4th gear, around about 2000rpm. It's a 56 plate FR170TDI. It has been for a regen at the dealers as I had the dashboard disco at one point, and thought this might clear it (as the garage informed it me), but unfortunately not. Have had mechanic out for test drive, but only happened briefly, once, and left it with them, but they couldn't replicate it.
Would the gasket solve it? Or would it bring on lights? Would it be harmless to try it seeing as it's only a couple of quid?

it wont bring lights on, it will however log a fault in the ecu "insufficient flow" was the error, for £2 try it! if it doesnt help either leave it in or remove it

kinda like your 235bhp that jbs claim

the cooler dosent hav anything to do with the stuter and if u do a proper egr delete you should remove the cooler as it isent doin anything anymore

no not you mate, your name is Stephen, not Kilner, and any ideas about what? the stuttering? that must've been some time ago, as Andrew has :cartman: 'd about, they now say that they can cure it with a stage 1 remap.

Yeah, the stuttering, pulling away and in 2nd and sometimes 3rd. The egr modd cured it for when i was on the motorway in 5th and 6th, just now around town its not too clever. 5hark said to me ill take a copy of the map, then when he had some ideas he would make some changes to try and improve it, i never heard back, this way about 18 months ago
