The car is home from detailing 
I got the car back earlier than expected as Rob dropped it back to me last night. And I was left speechless! I would call my cleaning before Rob's detail as sub-standard now... This has opened up a whole new lease of life for the car.
I was considering chopping the car in next year, and it may still happen. But for remaining time I have the LCR, I am going the whole hog with everything that needs doing bodywork wise aswell as the mechanical aspects which still need to be done as soon as I can.
Here are a few pictures from when it was delivered to me last night. I will be taking more pics on a better camera today, an iPhone 4 and not a 3GS lol. I might be having DK round later with his SLR to take some pictures if he can get round today.
I am also going to Prept show at Brands Hatch on Wednesday night with DK and Rob who detailed the car will be taking his GT3 RS. So that should be a fun convoy! Hopefully will get pics and video's!!![[B)]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/shades.gif "Cool [B)]")
I am over the moon with the results. The car is soo soo smooth to rub your hand over. The interior has been done too and steamed etc. I am so in love with the car again LOL
I really can't wait to get the wheels and the brembo's done next. And maybe get the rear of the car dropped a little more. She will look better than ever if all goes to plan.
Massive thanks to my good friend and neighbour Rob @ Supercar Detailing. I was having a good chat with him last night before I went out and he said my car has really opened his eyes up to the VAG scene and he really enjoyed doing it. Could there be more VAG cars in the pipeline for him now? Sounds promising.
I'm sure Darren will get on with Rob this Weds at Prept!

You have to take that time to get it done because you won't believe the results and what lies beneath!! Lol. It really is another level.
Yeah definitely come say hi or vice versa on Wednesday. I've never been before so I'll be having a good look round. Hows your car now mate? Sorted those niggling issues you had?

Cool, glad to hear you sorted your issues. What was it in the end buddy? Nice to hear she's running well. Stage 1 to 2 I don't really know the difference in road feel as I went straight to 2, but I'm sure your not far off!

And I totally agree! Wheels are getting done but maybe darker than black chrome. But as I've not set on a colour yet, any opinions are welcome from anyone.
Just don't say pink, yellow, orange etc, because I will ignore those people, lol.

Indeed they are. The car paints it's own pictures in it's bodywork! I can't get over it, really can't. I've had the car since Feb 2010 and it should never have taken this long to get it done, but it has. Now it stays this way. I hope! Lol I look forward to the pics from your Monday detail!! The weather should be good for it mate!

Vagcom leads arrived so hopefully I'll get to the bottom of my power shortage shortly.

Nice one mate, hope you sort out that issue. I'm sure vagcom will have the answer. It's a clever bit of kit.
I reset my throttle body again earlier. Think I'm just a bit OCD though..
