mo that looks mint, also your pretty brave having the splitter that low. but as i say looks very nice indeed :D

Thanks Sam, tell me about it, it's been at constant battle with speed bumps since I left the garage!..... I think I may raise it a little from the front and but bigger tyres on, I can't take the scrapes for much longer.

i'm finally sold on them boc wheels on your cupra looks the business now , the rear spacers really worked a treat , be careful of the lowering the front though remember ARB ,

Haha! glad you see what I saw in the Boc wheels when I purchased them, they do look unique on this car, still not seen anyone else with them on a mk1 Leon Cupra, ARB is on the cards mate, I might raise it a little as mentioned above.

Mo, cars looking very good fella:D, shame i didnt get to meet you today:(

I'm sure i spotted your motor but didnt see you by your car

I was trying to look out for everyone, saw a few mk1 / mk2 leons on various different stands but no one by them to talk to, only person I spoke to was Lee, Ginger, I was parked behind him next to that mk1 facelift silver LC with a red roof

I saw your car at the races against that red ibiza, got a video of it which I've uploaded, good effort bro.

just remove the hose , use some carb cleaner an if you can get some to stand on the throttle when the ignition is on to open the butterfly flap , spray and and wipe make sure it's all dry before reconnecting hose and starting or it will struggle to start

Thanks Mark

JOM coil-overs are fine mate, good set for the money, not too bouncy and not too harsh, they can be a bit annoying if you bottom them out, i.e all the way down! but chances are you'll grow tiresome of that and raise the hieght again.

For e.g. this:

Get's annoying after a while!

UPDATE

Car was hesitating a bit from 1st to 2nd and in some higher gears, seems like a slight miss-fire so I purchased some brand new 'BREMI' OE Bolt Down Coil Packs from GSF and some brand new rubber seals and bolts from Dave @ SERE:

UPDATE

Coil Packs fitted and secured:

IMAG0049.jpg

But.... problems! my LC does not like these coil packs, all 4 throw up the following fault codes:

Saturday,10,September,2011,12:21:41:36838
VCDS Version: Release 10.6.3

4 Faults Found:

17763 - Cylinder 1 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1355 - 35-00 - -
17769 - Cylinder 3 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1361 - 35-00 - -
17772 - Cylinder 4 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1364 - 35-00 - -
17766 - Cylinder 2 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1358 - 35-00 - -

Readiness: 0010 1101

This was a bit boggling so...

I removed all 4 new coil packs to inspect them, they seem fine

I removed all 4 spark plugs (recently fitted), they are all gapped correctly, I cleaned them

I checked all the fuses on the side of the dash, they are all intact

I checked the wiring that leads to the coil pack plugs all seems fine, no rips, or damage

I removed the earth, cleaned it, sanded it, and put back on to no avail

After giving up with them I've put the old push down coilpacks back on, cleared the codes and hey presto, the fault codes have not returned!

Surely 4 brand new OE coil packs from GSF cant be faulty?

Am I missing something, I thought you could use the mk1 Audi TT bolt down coilpacks on a LC? I know people have used the 3rd party non-oe Hitachi ones..... tre bizzare! GSF closed now, gona get my money back

Why do I need new coilpacks because:

1. One kept popping out
2. They are the original coil packs, marked 2003

I'm not willing to pay ECS for the bolt down kit because that's gonna cost loads as I still have to replace the coilpacks.....

I even bought brand new rubber seals and bolts for these bolt down ones

Sucks a little, but I'll find a way around it
