Jason, a few pics from yesterday I grabbed, not the best but thought you might want them. I blanked out your reg plate from the pics.

Nice results mate... worth all the troubles. Enjoy your grin:D[B)]

Hasn't stopped at all :D

Nice results Jamjay :) btw, looking at your sig you got it as 209bhp, didn't know you got it demapped :p lol

Haha oops, fixed it now.

Nice result jason :) enjoy the car dude and be careful. I went from oem to stage 2 and i found the car scary to begin with so i know what you mean lol. I love it when you have to fight with the steering wheel, makes you smile :D
As i say enjoy the car.
One other thing do you know what boost you are running, 326ftlb is very high, mine was simular but bill told me we need to turn it down, saying that i did run it for a few months like it without any probs. Just thinking as your torque is high and you have the badger 5 tip, whats your turbo boosting at, mine was hitting 2 bar, this caused the high torque. As you know we fixed the issue with a mbc.

Cheers Sam. I had a quick word with the mapper and he has mapped it in a way to run safely, it could have made a little more but not without those rods I guess. Boost guage to be fitted very soon.

Jason.... No worries for my persistence to see the car mapped and finally on the rollers. It was worth the wait ;)

All I can say to anyone who has not heard Jason's exhaust is... it's mental! It sounds so so good. I am a bit jealous of the pops and overall tone it makes. Not too loud but it is raw and gives that motorsport sound we crave!

So happy with your results. Kenny really did put the work in and sort it out with the boost leak before it went on. Also good of him to talk about your boost and the map is set as not to boost too high to keep it safe.

Next up I think you need that gauge put in! The fact Kenny loved driving it when he blasted it up the strip and back down says it all.

Was a good day despite the wait and the on/off weather. The car did really well and sounded like it was pulling so hard on the dyno. You've got a good'un mate. Forget that BMW ;)

If the mapper, who does this every day, likes your car and has a grin from ear to ear then you know you have a good one :D. TBH I think I might send hime down some beers fir the work he did.

We'll meet for some pictures very soon.

wow your car sounds proper scary lol! So much better than an evo people don't expect it to be so quick!

It's nuts, very very fast so I'll just have to watch that speedo.

Nice results! I saw you either yesterday or Friday. You came through the roadworks in godstone?

Tis I that have been bringing the village to a standstill! Lol

If ur around mate, feel free to pop down and say hi. Gets bloody boring here lol

Ahh so it's you that has ruined everything. When are you working down there 'til? Shall I put and orange beacon on my roof and roll up?

Thanks dude! How high does it look on those rollers with the coilover up? Guess how long it stayed like that after I got home? :p

No worries mate. About 5mins? :)

The stance on yours I saw before they raised it is perfect imo. Mine will be going down over the coming months for sure.

If you're not confident doing it yourself then I'll happily help/do it for you. It's an easy job, I even fitted mine myself.

What you doing this Sunday? Lol...

I've also pretty much decided on the Whiteline 24mm RARB now too. Have made some decisions since having a good chat with you yesterday :)

Ummm actually I believe that I am free so we can do Sunday if you wish? Shouldn't take too long at all, an hour tops.

I hope I didn't talk you out of £1000 worth of Milltek exhaust but if you ever did decided to opt for a similar setup as mine I know just the place for it ;).

Like I say, my Subaru friends & the forums rave about Whiteline and those guys are hard to please. If it's good enough for them then it is for me so I'll be joining you with the purchase :).

Thanks mate! It's was a testing couple months plagued with split hoses, N75 & MAF sensor failure but worth it to get to where it is now. I've bought most of the hoses for the rest of the bay anyway so I plan to replace them all regardless of condition. It's been a busy weekend socially but I think next weekend the car has earned itself a paint detail...again :).

That would be brilliant mate. Whereabouts are you based? PM if you can bud.

My Milltek stays as much as I loved hearing yours! If I ever fancy a change or getting a different cat-back on there, I could try a LongLife with a similar bean-can type silencer like yours for that sound! But for the time being, there are far too many other areas to spend the money on mine.

On the Whiteline, I totally agree. I've been reading up across the net beyond this site and it seems alot of other marques out there rate these highly. This will save me a few £ anyway over the original plan of the Neuspeed 25mm RARB.

did you need the 4bar fpr in the end?

No need for it in the end but as I understand some cars do, it's just not eveident until mapping I don't think.

I shall give you a txt and we'll sort it out :). We'll do one corner at a time to save the bother of axle stands, do you have a low entry troller jack/trolley jack at all? My trolley jack was making some funny noises yesterday so I'd not be happy using it on your car just in case it was to fail. If you don't have a low entry one then I have some small ramps to lift the car up a couple of inches for a standard one...or there is the widow maker scissot jack which for this work is actually adequate.

Agreed, no point in replacing the Milltek and sounds seriously good. If a RARB makes as much of a difference as people day, we'll both be very happy.

that N95 like t0m said i might get a spare they easy to change over seems a good price on the ebay link

mines never been changed to date

can you reuse the old clips says on that ebay link you need to new 2x clips 8-12mm and they have to be cut off?

looking on google images the clips can be undone with a screw driver?

Fantastic result Jay, great to see your fault free too. Did you get the 4 bar reg mapped in too as its pretty essential for the high powered stage 2's.
Wheres your graph for us to drool over and some logs for us to see air mass, boost etc would be good too.
Well done. :)

I didn't need the 4bar in the end, my fuelling is fine but I do still have the regulator. I wonder what would happen if I was to fit it?

I'm not in the office today but I'll scan in the graph sometime during this week. Logs to follow also but as you can imagive Ive already spent £££ on fuel :D.

You would be running rich, the ECU is mapped on the assumption that the fuel pressure is 3 bar - if you put in a 4 bar then for the same injection pulses it'll be delivering more fuel. FPRs need mapped in :)

For those considering a Whiteline rear ARB, I've got one waiting to fit. My car's getting the new turbo put in tomorrow so I'll hopefully get the ARB fitted later this week or at the weekend and post some findings. That said, Dan S1PRU has one already (think he said so in this thread) so check his RR for a review, think he was pretty positive about it.
