Can you remember what your map was called, I still think there's a good chance we do have the same one? I had the choice of 2 of the most aggressive ones.

Look forward to seeing the results. Mine now feels a little bit smoother than it did with the stutter in terms of delivery. I am guess ***** may have had to limit the delivery slightly to prevent the injector cut?

Just sent an e-mail to JLS to see what they can do with the coding problem!

Kinjamin

its not a coding problem its ther way of keeping buisness all the bad story you here about jbs well u wonder how they keep making money ?

well they lock your ecu well not lock it more like change the name of your ecu from it original type and file and software version numbers to jbs custom code dpf-off and this then causes other tuners a problem to find out what your original ecu files were and if the wrong ecu files are loaded the ecu has a chance to not respond to another flash so then needs to be removed opend up and then resolder a 14 pin chip and try again

and u can bet that most tuners would be put off by this and then you hav to go back top jbs and get the work done with them

also keeps them in business for little tweeks like the egr delete software and other things

i just h8 jbs dont get me wrong if ur dpf packs in and you want an alternative to the oem dpf get the package but as a performance mod i would say avoid jbs

I have got my Original File any how so that wouldn't bother me

Still waiting to see the RR graph and review that you promised

i will put it up asap atm i want to get the map tweeked to some setings i would do but as u carnt adjust stuff manually and its all done via ecu i need them to do it for me witch takes time :(

as for the rr results i had one done and tbh i think thers somthing wrong with teh 4th gear rr results every1 is pulling around the 200 to 204bhp in 4th gear and all the dynos i seen that use 5th hav been 220+ so i need another dyno run in 5th and ill post that up atm im unsure what is goin on with dyno runs on our cars

In theory 5th should show a lower power output. Shorter gearing will show more power at the wheels. Obviously it depends on how its calculated. Also if you map from ***** is running less boost than the CC map then is would show less power. Mine isn't as fast as it was before, but on the other hand its, because it goes everytime I put my foot down. Its no longer a 1 in 10 chance whether I stutter or not. Ben tends to map his cars on the smoother side and with possibly slighly less boost. I'm not sure what mines running, but i'll find out asap. By that I mean boost wise and power wise.

Peace.

i feel the new map is faster than be4 it has 25% more fuel than the old map but a tad less boost goin to get it tweeked up2 its maximum if the turbo blows ill get a new one so i wouldent recomend any1 else doin the same change

as i allrdy hav funds for the new turbo if this one blows

but i do feel its faster and as for the stuter i neva had one stuter on the cc map

as for the dyno the point of it reading higher in 5th than 4th is we think the ecu is cuting fueling if its accelerating to a difrent kind of speed it used to on the road

its a very complex ecu

Yep, fuel cut definitely occurs in the lower gears mate. I too agree about the fuel vs boost debate. My car definitely smokes a bit more. Raising the boost pressure you would assume would help lessen the smoke to some extent.

Let me know if Ben's up for it.

i will let u kno what happens hes rly busy untill the end of the month i hav installed a mechanical boost gauge aswell so im trying to obtain live boost data

as i dont want it to be overboosting and the ecu saying im only getin 1.5bar even tho its making 1.65 bar

atm it looks around the 23 psi mark ill update wen i hav more information

ive had my pd leon remapped by celtic tuning

will fitting this egr gasket reduce the turbo lag i get sometimes? sometimes the power is there from 1500 rpm and sometimes its not, is this the problem? i dont feel a stutter as such just a lack of power

and will this still be ok with the dpf? thanks

I would suggest you should let celtic tuning have a look at your map again. I think you will find there are issues with either the map, or the map is highlighting issues with your car. Either way i would try and find out.

Bigg_addicted need some advice from you guru! Had the car de-dpf and remapped by JLS autodesigns in Chesterfield. Car Passed MOT emissions fine. Week later the DPF emissions light has just popped on the car? Confused as to way this wouold happen! Any advice would be appreciated. Car needs a service as the spanner just popped on also! Is this a coincidence?

Right J.B.S then, im gonna guess and say its a faulty sensor! or better still get it VCDS scanned if it is a sensor you can get ir replaced without going to J.B.S

Thanks for the quick response! :D Is the car safe to drive will this trigger a regen? Not too sure with the coding from JBS?

Anybody have VCDS scanner in the Notts, Newark area?
