A tough choice Tim, but the car looks rather nice; nice contrast between the white of the bay and the silver of the car. Really well finished.

Can I ask, how did you debaffle your charge pipe? Did you buy it that way or were you simply able to remove the baffle without replacing it with anything? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with whatever decision you make buddy :)

James.

It sure is lol, thanks though mate, if i keep it, s3 engine cover in white and the two IC's hoses blue silicon.

People have asked why I did them white and not body colour, But want the engine bay to be a different colour scheme to the outside.

So its White on Matte Black with Blue hoses, Then the Outside is Black on Silver with the Red Callipers.

That sounds like a nice colour combo for the bay.

With the debaffled charge pipe, did you replace the baffling with a metal sleave or anything, or did you leave the pipe simply with the baffling removed?

Thanks Tim.

Oh yeah sorry mate, to de-baffle, simply remove the pipe, and smash the inside to pieces with a hammer and chissel, takes alot of doing, but you wont brake it, then shake it all out bit by bit, its fairly easy to crack up with force.

Make sure you clean afterwards as dont want the turbo eating metal filings up!

Thanks for that Tim! I hear that it frees things up a little, so I may give it a go. I'd read that many have inserted sleaves but if you've not replaced it with anything, then I see no reason why I would need to take it anywhere to be done.

Shame to see it go. Just wondering you wouldn't fancy doing a deal with your black Alloys for my standard cupra r alloys?

Nice! Is it the mk2 ones? Well if you change your mind let me know. I know a mechanic who can swap them over quickly and cheap.

Good luck with the sale!
