Locking car with key fob

lol well atleast ive got it workingbut would like to get the lights to flash when locking and unlocking anybody no how to sort that out?

I went and saw my VW mechanic cousin who I thought had the same key for his Y plate Leon.
Turns out while it looks the same they are actually ever so slightly different
Planning to call in to him at the dealer to plug the key into the computer and see if it is actually working.
I've also taken my glovebox out in preparation for it to not be working and a weekend of investigation, and searching scrappys.
Remote Central Locking control unit 1L0 959 800 is a massive box behind the glovebox.
A Google search shows the same one was in Polos so probably cordoba's etc as well.
Here's hoping I can find summin suitable

the box is small mate
The box is about 4 x 3 inches in my Cordy and it's up behind the clocks, there's two screws holding it in, two plugs in the back and one has a wire which goes where ever you like, this is the ariel type part that picks up the signal from the key fob. You might find that just messing about with the plugs helps sort it out, since I had my dash out and the box it's working better.

Well today thanks to the power off eBai i have received a large box containing:
a C/L receiver
a remote key fob
all the locks for the doors and boot
the vacuum pump
and probably some other central locking bits i shouldn't really need
What do we think the chances of me having working remote central locking by night fall is?
