Thanks for all the comments :D Filled her up when i picked it up for the drive home. Ate 65quid, 50miles home and i drove ALOT yesterday, couldn't get me out of it and showing bang on 3/4 left, so yes she will drink!

The way i see it is, its not going to be a daily runner, thats what the company car is for, so i SHOULD be able to keep costs down. She just had a major service done 100miles ago, discs, pads, all belts and all fluids so thats less to spend.

Ok consumables like tyres, petrol, road tax and insurance there is no getting away from.

Not going to do anything it it power wise, its more than quick enough for me.

Plans will be to put a 9 rear bumper on it, FQ400 front carbon splitter, carbon vortex generator and MAYBE some new alloys later in the year.

Here, there and everywhere ;)
Very nice move indeed..lovely looking car.

I passed up the chance for an 8 last month, knowing the spec of the car, who did the work and how little it was driven i was daft not to make the move but funds didnt permit at the time :( That car now resides in Germany with a very pleased new owner.

A good company to deal with on the MLR are the likes of Indigo GT or MG Autos in the Midlands - bit of a drive from you but would definitley be worth it for anything you might want to do in the future

Shame that, im sure you'll get a shot at another one soon enough, there are plenty of good ones for sale on the MLR but alot of sheds aswell.

Yes i have heard of Indigo GT, get very good reviews. I dont have a service due for another 4.5k so will just enjoy her on evenings and weekends for the moment.

The power delivery is so different coming from my little KO3s setup i had on the ibiza. The KO3s used to tail off after 4.5k, things are roaring on like house on fire by this point in the Evo. Most most impressed with how it puts the power down and the pull in 5th gear doing 70mhp.....woooooosh and your doing silly speeds on my 3 lane private road!

She does have a serious drink problem thought! :D

Thanks matey! Smiles per gallon are great to be fair! I'll never forget the Ibiza though! Weather permitting i will giver her a clean and a little photo shoot this weekend.

Pops and flames are fun, although living in south London, most people tend to mistake them for gun shots!

Very nice car mate, I keep telling myself I'll have an Evo one day... and my G/F lol. My fav would be a white 7 RS (with alloys) but carbon'd up 8's are very nice too. Done right 6's are nice also.

I wonder how long the 398bhp will stay 'more than enough' until after you first track day? lol

Love how you can get so much power from Evo's with reasonably simple mods. Would love to have that kind of grip also.

Had it since March last year, so nearly one year now!

Alarm is bit sensitive, but thats about it

It had new brakes when I got it, tyres were ok too. Not had to change them yet.

Fuel is not the best, but didn't buy it for the economy :D

Fast cars though :)

Thanks Spud, they are SO easily mod'd to big numbers. Mind not had extensive work done to it and its almost at 400/400 level!

Hey Rob might come down to the next No Rice, when's it going on? I will always have a soft spot for SEAT, still keep my eye out for them. Where do you live again mate? PM if you like.

Matt, what alarm do you have? Mine has a Cobra on. Are you on MLR? My user name is Milsey, look me up, need to pay my membership soon as i cant post anymore!

Do you use it alot? Only ising mine maybe 1-2times during the week and at weekend. Stuck 60quid in it when i collected it. Did 50mile journey back home and more driving that day. One blast this week and its just under 3/4 tank.

Am i right in thinking that the trip computer does not have a miles to empty mode?

Im still getting used to the power to be honest, still does scare me at times. One thing i have learnt fast is that you have to be AWAKE when driving it quickly on private roads! Could relax abit in the ickle Ibiza, not so in this!
