Ordered some new genuine wheel bolt covers today and some more center caps for the wheels (They will be going gloss black) Also ordered a sai blanking plate from forge (bum feels abit sore) so hopefully can rip all the crap off the top off the engine and the secondary air pump thing. Just need to check with the bloke who mapped the car he can map the secondary air pump out of the ecu, cant be doing with intermittent faults!

Yeh got the caps and the nut covers off ebay. Nut covers are only a tenner for genuine ones, was pretty happy with that!

Im waiting for john to get back to me about mapping the sai out so i wont get a light on, then ill pop over and get that done and get launch control whacked back on!

You got anywhere with the turbo yet, or weather holding you back? :(

Hes got the sai mapped out though, even with them plugged in it still brings up a fault every now and again apparently. It was rich that has inspired me to do mine too haha think im gonna try hide them solonoids though

Lol, I've inspired someone! :D

Go for it, I'd like to make my cables and valves invisible too, I just don't know where to put them or what resistors to go for etc. Apart from that, the top of my engine and the bay in general look pretty tidy I think :)

I've heard some bad stories from resistoring haha so I'll just be doing what you did I reckon! Just need to make sure John can map it out as it'd do my head in if it kept randomly coming up as a fault!

Looks awesome mate :)

Cheers! It's getting there

Would be interesting to see if he can map out the other valves too. If he could, that would be great and you could remove the valves without worrying about resistors or CEL lights.

You cant take it off without resistoring it Scott or it will throw the car into limp mode i think! I melted one of my reisistors and it blew a fuse!

Im off round to the car just now to try get the turbo half off lol

Ive just put that Forge blanking plate on what a farce theres is no way you can get to one of the allen key bolts without removing a water pipe from the side of the engine so i lost like half my coolant and ill need gasket seal now :|

On a plus the top half of the turbo is disconnected and tip is off

I dont think so mate as it will hit safe mode if you dont resistor it

Haha I saw that on a tutorial for it today. Think I might just do it like damo did, to avoid that. Glad to hear it's coming along mind, can't wait till yours comes together. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy all these resistors etc :(
