Just a thought because the octavia, golf and A3 do?
Is there any plan to put any on in the future?

I think VAG have proved especially lately IMO that SEAT are bottom of the ladder.

Skoda who are supposedly the budget brand have a 3.6L VR6 FSI 4x4 engine available, SEAT can't even get the LED DRL's that every other brand is using at the moment.

its the scandanavians we all have to thank for the stupid new EU laws about driving lights - my opinion:

if you cant see a car in the first place driving in broad daylight without its lights on - YOU SHOULD'NT BE DRIVING!!!

Even Mundaneos and Ashtrays have them now. Same as DSG is not available on the Cupra or Cupra R even though the R20T has four wheel drive and no direct competition for it elsewhere in the brand (with a four door body). If you want a K04 2.0TFSi with DSG you need either a 2 door Scirocco or 2 door TTS.

If you want a full option list Audi would indeed be a better choice (at a price)
For me I don't like dsg a bit (and the people that have them use auto 95% of the time), Haldex is exept in the TTrs not too good (had an R32 and hated this option), and dayligths are more for trendy Citroens (that have the nasty habid that one of them is constantly failing), on audi's however stock I think they start to look tacky.
Never understood the use of daylights which only make other road users (bikes, pedestrians) less visible.

The Scandanavians made it law to have dipped beam & tail lights on all the time due to the long winter conditions they have.

The EU law for DRL's is to reduce head-on accidents involving pedestrians & cyclists, hence the DRL's are only on the front.

I don't understand where you are coming from. Pedestrians shouldn't be on the road unless they are crossing at a pelican crossing/pedestrian crossing. Both of these the Driver needs to obey - so why should the pedestrian need DRLs in all cars???

i wasnt talking about DRL's i was referring to the post in my qoute
its easier to see a car from a pedestrians point of view if lights are on , you have to remember the driving conditions are not always bright sunny days , how many twats have you seen driving in dusk who forget to put any lights on , think about it from a school kids point of view and not a drivers
are you with me now?

further in defense of the DRL's, i suppose it does help people identify whether a car is on or off, if you know what i mean, a quick scan of the road and you can tell if the cars near you have there engines on and could possibly move and present a hazard, coming from a driver and pedestrians point of view.

They cause an increase in accidents...Austria introduced them then outlawed them when the accidents in the 12 months following increased by about 15%. No doubt our government will tell us, when our accident rate increases, that it's because we all speed... and not because they got something wrong, because the government never gets anything wrong...

Besides the fact that all LED DRL's look like a tacky council house at christmas, my opinion!

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how to change Seat Leon's gear knob? I have just bought a new gear knob and haven't got a clue how to remove the existing one. I saw a video on youtube, but that was for Ibiza Mk4. I will be grateful if someone could tell me how to remove the gear knob.
Thanks

I hate those daytime LED's.

Just makes me think it's a car wanting to get noticed..

Broad daylight and it just looks daft with lights on.
