Car is looking well Kat, my 57 plated mk2 is at 27k so 30k on a 7 year old car is brilliant!

Not sure I have seen you at a Aberdeen meet but al informs me that you have the detailing gift? Fancy having an apprentice? :)

Thanks Dav. Very happy with it, well worth travelling a long way for, thought it was too good an example to miss out on!
I have only been at one meet and that was at Wallace performance in November. I only know Willie, Al and Derek so hopefully make a few meets this summer and get to kow more of you.

Haha, did he now!? Yes I am rather into detailing, I did Al's car in September. I would be more than willing to give you advice ect, but I am still a novice myself! Hoping to get some more cars to do this summer so can get a bit more experience. I do have a DA Machine Polisher so will be doing my car once winter is past :D

Agree that milage is brill on your car Kat,but been talking to a few "Dub" lads at weekend, and they say mines still a baby at 100k still being broken in lol

I honestly don't think mileage is a huge concern on these cars Wayne. Some of the best on here are at 100k, it's how well they have been cared for that matters :) And I know yours will be loved! :p

You done the N249 bypass ? I might do mine I reckon soon

I haven't Wayne, still not really that clued up about it. I was going to speak to someone at a meet hopefully who has done this.

I have all the toys for doing it but the da scares me! Need someone to show me how to use it properly! Been needing my Leon done for ages. But the Ibiza I have aswell could do with a light going over! I'll catch you at a meet soon hopefully for some guidance! Cheers

No need to be scared, but I know how you feel. First time I used mine was terrified! PBs website has the best advice you can possibly get. Im sure I could give you some tips, and hopefully meet you soon at a meet, be good to know another face! :D

Good job getting service done Kat :)

I think mine needs doing soon... Great, more money :(

Cheers Tom. It was only serviced 5k ago, but no harm in doing it again. Im rather lucky in the way that I get everything cheap thorugh my brother, didn't even need to pay for the oil ;)

if you check out post #10 on page 1 of my progress thread there's a pretty clear(ish) pic of mine and you can see which pipes to remove and join, hope this helps

Way way better there Kat.
195 x 1.25 = 243 BHP conservatively.

There's places on the go at that RR on the 22nd at Wallace, £40 for 2 runs.
We know how accurate they are so you would get a proper idea of what BHP you have to play with.

The 2.3 CF is nothing to worry about, looks like the small changes have sorted out the scary numbers.

Cheers Willie :) New sparks and V-Power seems to have done the trick! Panel Filter probably helping too.

I might manage the 22nd, I will let you know. Be nice to get it on the rollers and see that everything is ok.
