Will do. So far so good anyway :)
Well if you don't make Friday we will just have to make a point of going to the pub another time :)

PLAN!!!
Any excuse, snow boarding is away to take over my life for the winter so perhap the pub won't get many visits, well apart from the ones on the slopes ;)

I also quite like them wheel but IMO you can't beat the standard rims on the Lcr but very nice winter wheels there

Hey! :) Thanks. I love it, delighted with it :) Certainly worth travelling for! Future mods will be happening but progress may not be as fast as others, and general tidying up will be before mods. At least you can look on here and still see it :)

nice car! i originally wanted one in red, i felt the same way as you did when i first bought mine :D was over the moon about it.

i know i might be a bit late but i read someone telling you to avoid the BMC air filter, in response to that, the BMC is really good, i've got one and so do a few other people i know and when logging the air intake, it gives good results, same if not better than open cone filters

Kat, Faisal,

I totally agree. I think it's one of those 'marmite' topics tbh. I've had a BMC for years now and have had no issues with it. IMO, it's aesthetically pleasing, is subtle in note and performs well. I have a twin feed air intake from the fogs and with this, I was really happy. In more recent months, I've changed the filter element (can be seen in my thread) but essentially it's the same and I wouldn't change it.

Like I said, marmite, but there you go...

Really like the winter wheels by the way!

James :)

Thanks :) Even after owning it for over 2 months, Im still like a 6 year old on xmas day :p

I have the BMC in my wardrobe as we speak! A friend has lent me it, to see what I think and if I like it. Worth giving it a go, as I believe in the old saying 'Don't knock it til you've tried it!'

Hi James. I agree, there's always going to be different opinions out there, at the end of the day it would be a very dull world if we all liked the same thing! I have the BMC so Im going to give it a go. I got it for free so worth trying out, to see if I like it. I did have a Jetex on my old Cupra and was very happy with it, but I like the look of the BMC and the fact that the filter is hidden.

Thanks, a friend lent me them as I was running Pirelli P Zero's (pathetic in snow by the way!) and struggling. Now I have bought them so will be sorted for next few years :)

Many people have told me they are very restrictive. I got it for free. If I don't like it or feel it's holding the car back, then I will take it off. No harm in trying. I appreciate all opinions tho! Thanks :)
