mate how have you fitted the tow strap, ive bought one and its looking like ill need to mod it to fit it??

haha ive had quite a few ask me that but cant give any trade secrets away lol na its not as hard as you think i just nut and bolted it to the original tow eye but cut the bumper a litttle so it hangs out enough its not that hard just got to make sure you cut the hole the right size,

so i better update this as im here really thinking about getting tha car painted over the winter months as i work in a bodyshop and the car is overdue a paint job so im stuck on colours to do it and after a few ideas im torn between 3 colours i will be painting the whole car inside door shuts, engine bay but the actual inside the car is going matt black with a illuminous green rollcage,

so the colours im thinking of are:

audi ibis white as used on the audi r8's s3's etc also im sure cupra elliot has painted his cupra this colour so may or may not use this

bmw gunmetal grey as on the m3's lovelly colour but not so sure it'll stand out as much as i want it to

and lastly paint it the original flash red as we painted my m8s rota centers the same colour and looks much deeper and shinier than my paint although mines not faded atall.

i was feeling matt black on the car to until some guy came up my work and had painted his passat matt black with an evo 4 spoiler on the back looks terrible if im honest and now has bought an impreza wagon and done the same totally ruined my idea now thought it would look good with the carbon bits.

also need to get rid of some parts i have lying about as i have no use for it now car will now be used as a weekend toy and the old astra derv runabout will be re-comissioned to do the dirty work hoarding parts about lol

few little updates but none on getting it back on the road lol i have had the dash and 2 front pillars flocked and bought a new omp steering wheel for it so ill have the track look im after also got me some green trs 4 point harnesses for the car to match the tow strap on the front so heres a few pics for now

hopefully going to get the motor out on the weekend if i can be bothered and get on with sorting these 3 snapped studs out got loads of plans for the car but ass i work in a bodyshop when i get home from work just cant be bothered to work on the car and with the nights drawing in fast i need it done aswel as a paintjob so not much then lol

lol i cant sell the bonnet m8 as dave said waited ages to get the bonnet even drove to near london to pick it up lol tried getting others to sell me theirs but kept pestering the company to get me it as every second hand one i seen was sold the second id see it.

Side by side with me until I hit 4th gear, nothing been close apart from this, h goes to kenfig keep a eye out, he rapes all the evos off the line to ha

few pics from a meet i went to last year lol only now found them after browsing another forum sw-dubs

quite like these pics of the car doesnt make the car look that bad bodywork wise but unsure on painting it white after these pics, its mad how a decent camera makes something look 10 times better so ill get a camera as its cheaper than a paint job lol

don't go white, red looks awesome, I always see a red Cupra R by my work, always double look at it.

Haven't seen this car since international GTi year before last! Still love it!

I've been thinking of getting Speedline Comp 2's but didn't know what the 6 spokes would look like on a Ibiza, looks smart!
