right then after having false information given to me by a few people i have got the car to boost feels absolutelly awesome cant belive it was something as little as it was but now im sure i have full boost it hits just over 20 psi and tails off a little but from driving my derv astra i dont have time to look at the boost gauge due to it being rather quick lol and was mapped down last time due to running standard rods and clutch,

so after adjusting the actuator bar that my m8 told me to do took 5 mins and alot of checks on vag-com i have no faults and a big grin on my face already covered 100 miles im it and each time i put my foot down it just went well into 3 figures so im a happy chappy

got it from lite tuned m8 bought it brand new seen a few on here second hand but got a new one instead,

few more additions to my car are a rear strut brace which is being powdercoated illuminous green to match the other engine bits and a trs tow strap as it looks better than the standard tow eye and is also green lol, also got myself a forge coolant pipe set off chris bond off here for half the price of forge as he is breaking his car so i scored a few bargains off him and im happy.

next up is getting a wot box fitted as im off to usc at santa pod at the start of august and want it to go up there and get myself a respectable time hopefully better than before

overfuelling need help advice

after some info now if anyone can help i went to the trackday at castle combe on sat and on the way up the car started acting funny i have a vems air/fuel gauge and it was reading lean as i know it sits about 14.7 on idle then goes down to supposedly max of about 12 when on full boost but on idle but was nearing 12 and going down to 10 when i drove not on boost then increasing to 12.3 on full boost i have put vag-com on and have no fault codes apart from the usual one that creeps in saying 'maximum engine speed exceded warranty void' lol.

so im trying to gather if i have a boost leak or is my gauge playing up although it stinks of fuel sometimes it has boosted as good as it usually has since fitting the turbo, im currently running on a gt28rs map and now on a gt3071 so i know that its not going to be perfect but it will do until i get some dough to get bill to map it again.

If it's reading <14.7 then it's running rich Gaz, not lean. I.e. too much fuel. Rather that than running lean however

The Ibiza ME7 is narrowband so will only regulate lambda on idle and I *think* steady state cruising, not WOT. You should definitely see 14.7 on idle. It may be worth logging lambda on VAG COM to check whether the gauge is telling lies, which mine did previously at Brands.

Not sure whether fuel trims are also worth a look, though I believe these get reset when you clear fault codes. Bill is the best one to ask on this really.

no idea how to resize them so if anyone could let me know that would be awesome

also had phil w to look at the car and log it as my air/fuel gauge was reading odd and as i was on my way to meet him it must of sorted itself out typical lol had some logs done and all appeared ok! so as i had a water leak im assuming it could of been down to that and could of had an air lock in the system (as i had to do a quick repair to get home) and was causing the car to read cold and chuck more fuel in as if it was on choke! all this overfueling seemed to be sorted after a changed to a forge coolant pipe set which after i changed from standard pipes seemes ok!

big thanks to philw for logging the car and getting my enthusiasm back up on this car im starting to love it again now lol my logs are in the big turbo section if anyone wants a look and could comment on it as phil said its running well :)

oh forgot to mention i now have a wot box haha so ill be off to try and set up my launch rpm and get it sorted to go to usc next week cant wait
