Key Fob Programming
VW/ Audi/ Seat/ Skoda

Remote Control Programming (1997 ON)
Procedure
1. Switch Ignition ON and leave key in the ignition.
2. Mechanically lock the vehicle using the Drivers door using a second key
3. Using the remote control press the Unlock button once, and the horn will sound once.
4. Wait 6 seconds and press the unlock button once to activate the coding procedure. The remote control will now be programmed.
Note: When performing programming on additional remotes the procedure is exactly the same, except you press the unlock button 2, 3 or 4 times for different remote.
For example: If programming 2 remotes press the unlock button twice with a 1 second interval between each press, repeat for 3 and 4 remotes.
5. Switch ignition OFF.
6. Remove key from ignition and check for operation.
7. The coding procedure can be repeated up to 4 times for additional remotes.
8. The ignition must be switched OFF between programming each remote control.

hope this helps....got this of a guy who i bought a key off, works a treat

Not telling
I don't know.

I got a 3 button flip key 'HLO 1JO 959 753 DA' and it works a treat on my '05 FR - the boot button works too. The guy I got mine from is selling brand new 3 button remotes on ebay minus key blade and transponder for 20 quid. Bargain! compared to a main stealer.

What isn't working? Can you start the car? That's what the transponder is for, it has nothing to do with the central locking. What's the part no of the key fob?

I cant seem to programme the remote to the car, i thought by using the transponder from the non remote key that would enable me to pair the new key to the car. but obviously not if the transponder is used to start the car.the part number on the new key is 50w 1j0 959 753 ct, 434mhz, 5fa 009 259-55. the part number from my current remote key is 434 mhz, 008444, 0878, 5fa 008548.

AH suffix works using the 2 key method.
N suffix doesn't. If I get chance over the next few days I'll have a play with the N suffix key to see if there is a different method of programming it

ive just bought a 3 button flip key from Ebay, and my current key only has 2 buttons.. with this new 3 button and the boot popper mechanism bought from TPS (vag parts) would the boot popper work off the key?

i have a three button one and if you hold the boot button for a second it will unlock the boot and boot alone and when you close the boot it relocks itsself
