Good call removing the side badges, i did mine a while ago and it really helps the lines of the car. She's looking good, the detail came up nice, kinda wet look.

Nice work.

Nice work.

Going to get my badges off this Friday/Saturday while I'm off work. Might go crazy and have all the rears off aswell while I'm there.

Cheers for the comments. I only used a wash and wax concentrate from Autosmart. I get these cheap from a contact ;) As well as the universal tyre dressing which is like an oil you brush on to the tyre walls.

I've not got a machine detailer/polisher of any sort but thinking about getting into it next year. Got some scratches on the rear bumper I want done and the spoiler is slightly unhinged on the left side where someone has tried to have it off :( Once those are sorted I want to get into the detailing of the car. :)

Just looked at your Jetex and Jabba Heat Shield, you've tempted me so much Im ordering this week :) Looked at the Jabba Induction Kit, it now comes with a red Cone which is perfect for me! Really want a Red Cone, so thinking might order the Induction kit but it is £200!

I have the Kestral DAS-6 Dual Action Machine Polisher, from Polished Bliss. I would highly recommend it!

:cartman: I knew you couldn't resist ;)

Yeah the jabba kit does come with a red filter now, it's the K&N isn't it? Decent enough filter. I went for the Jetex because of the hype on the forum and Badger Bill sells the setup at a good price imo. But the full jabbasport kit is a decent product, so you will love it. The heatshield really looks the business too! I'd say it's worth £200 compared to the restrictive BMC CDA's which can cost more than £200! :wtf:

Thanks for the recommendation! As I've said before, I really want to get into it next year once I've got a few bits touched up on the car and might even then get it into some shows like Bromley Pageant of Motoring again :)

Thanks for the kind words! The car is getting there, but no where near done, I'm constantly seeing people's cars on here and taking inspiration for the next mod.
December is going to be the test for the car really, stage 2 mapping with a full turbo back Milltek exhaust :funk:
I hope she handles it well... The rolling road runs she's done she only kicked out 212bhp and similar torque when I had her not long, so hopefully I'll see a big gain on that. But not going to cry my eyes out if I don't. The car feels much faster and more responsive since I've had it and looked after it. It's how it drives on the road and it sure does go better than when I 1st picked it up. So fingers crossed she'll be a beasty stage 2 come end of December :)
