Well I had the Redline magazine photoshoot today. All went fine apart from the weather, it was showering on and off all day so I have no idea if the shoot will turn out any good or not. He took a ton of pics and I was there all day, from the pics he showed me on his camera they do look good, so we'll see. No pics to show, just have to wait for the mag! :D

Great to hear you've made another publication Rob, well done fella!

Thanks all! :D

This is my last modified car and I have no intentions of ever selling it or breaking it - from now on I am just going to drive and enjoy it as much as possible. It's good to call it a day with a mag feature.

I am calling it finished now, no further plans to do any more to it. If something ever breaks or needs replacing then I'll consider upgrading that part at the time.

The only parts I have lying around waiting to fit are some poly bushes and the Gates Racing timing belt with manual tensioner conversion. I will fit these over the winter.

Nice one Rob, she's a credit to you. :)
How are you getting on with the vibratechnic mounts as i'm looking to upgrade mine, are they really better than the others you've tried.

I phoned my insurance company to tell them about the Corbeau seats and OMP steering wheel, all of which delete the factory airbags. No problem they said, £25 charge for those mods! Got to love Greenlight, so mod friendly! :D

I'm looking at adding a centre silencer (as I think it's too loud inside the car) or maybe going for a bigger exhaust with 2 silencers, don't know yet, everything I've read says a 2.5" exhaust is too small for running 350bhp.

Today I was up at Stainless Creations to get measured up for a full custom 3" exhaust. It will have a small centre silencer and a bigger rear silencer, to try and keep the noise down, with a 6 x 4" oval tailpipe. Going to be fitted next Thursday. It will then be a full 3" system right from the turbo to the tailpipe! ;)

Oh and Redline have begun writing my feature, asking me tons of questions! :D

I've got a de cat'd 3" DP with 2.75" back.box. The noise on tick over is very quiet, hope you get the sound your wanting. Any idea when your features gonna be in print?

My custom 3" exhaust system is being fitted as we speak, will be collecting the car tomorrow morning, looking forward to it! :D

I have cured the vibration from the DP hitting the tunnel by fitting a VF Engineering dogbone mount, which obviously restricts most of the engine movement as it is very stiff. Can't say I've noticed much increase in vibrations from it, it's certainly better than the DP knocking against the floor!
