yeah has a boost port defo will look and see if got a green wire tommorro,

i have a seperate tank with a switch so shows when its low.
Yeah thats the DV-30 with build in MAP sensor(hence the boost port) you will not be able to use this controller to take a reading electronically from the cars MAP sensor as the build in sensor on the DV-30 is 3bar(or so DO told me), so the reading will be off, you will have to use the boost port and tap into the manifold/fpr or where ever you can get a reading from. This is the reason i when back to the Stage 2 2.5bar kit. You might want to confirm this with Bill or DO.

Also, even though the nozzle calculator says you need a D04 nozzle both RobDon and I found the engine would bog down and had to use the D03 nozzle. Now i am not sure how it will be with the hybrid as there is more flow but this was a problem with the Standard K04 on a stage 2.

The controller is earthed, i will double check on my car now.

It earths through the controller. Instead of having a switched live, the kit uses a switched earth, hence the fat earth cable coming from the controller. (If it is the same as my AEM kit that is!)

ICE Instal

Small update,

I had a Kenwood KVT-627 installed in my car, this stereo was great, but i never watched DVD's and the unit was way over my head/needs, i'm not big into my ICE, just want to listen to my IPOD and make/recieve calls.

I decided to uninstall this under utilised system and install a new Alpine CDE-113bt, the unit is super easy to use and the bluetooth works well with my Blackberry in addition the colors match the lighting perfectly, happy days.

This is the system i took out.

Just spoke with the Mechanic, the rods/turbo and manifold are in/on, he will be doing the timing belt tomorrow and the car should be ready for collection. :D:D

He also said my stock manifold had a small crack, nothing major, they all crack eventually. The turbo on other had was in good condition, but then again it only has 40k on it.

Hybrid, Manifold and rods fitted :)

What an evening, I just got back from picking up my car and all I can say is holy fu$k its awesome, as it stands it is completely uncivilised and just angry, I had a 50miles journey to collect it and i had to take it easy most of the way, on some of the slower roads my curiosity got the best of me and I gave the throttle a little blip here and there, i cannot believe how well this flows and how fast the spool is, its completely savage.

I will post pics of the stuff that was removed tomorrow but is in shockingly got condition, i guess it has only 40k on it.

Early start tomorrow, will be at the tuners all day to see what we can get out of here, if i have internet access i will post up power runs as we do them, it should be very very interested.

Well Done mate, hoping you get some great results. Now you can see there is a big difference between a stock k04 and a hybrid.:)
