A few little updates.

I've got a track day booked in November at Snetterton so I need to get the Ibiza back on the road for then. This week, I've been removing the rest of the sound deadening from the floorpan, and have ordered some carbon front door cards that should hopefully be here next week. I've also got a TRS tow eye loop to be fitted at some point.

My seats are now up for sale, as I'd ideally like some fixed backs for the track day, but if they don't sell, they'll be put back in, along with the 2" harnesses.

If I get a chance, the new braided lines will hopefully be on for November, and possibly the baffled sump too.

Cool, cheers dude. I've been trying to find an oil cooler similar to yours but have had no luck so far. Hopefully I'll get it insured at the end of the month once I've been paid.

Thanks for the link Ben!

Another small update.

My Recaro's are sold and were picked up on Tuesday, along with my TRS harnesses. My carbon door cards have now arrived, and will be fitted once I've got the door handle parts that are on order with Ben. My new fixed back buckets and 3" harnesses are also on order, and hopefully will be here next week. I've had an idea about mounting my gauges, so I can lose the centre console and I started working on that today, along with continuing to remove the sound deadening from the floor pan!

They had the front ones 35% off on eBay with a free fitting kit so I couldn't really say no.

Not sure on fitting of that yet. I have an idea, but it's finding the time and weather to get the front bumper off to see if it'll work.

wouldnt it just be a case of cutting hole through impact bar, fitting a bolt that goes though with big enough head for the rope anchor , welding a nut to the back of the bar so the bolt threads into it and and cutting small hole in the bumper infront of it?

Cheers Dave! I had originally planned to get the Corbeau Pro-Series, but after sitting in a friends Revolution, I had to have some!

I'll let you know how the fitting of the loop goes. All being well I'll be trying to fit it Thursday.

Or attach it to the current tow eye and cut through the front light trim

Both of those is what I'm thinking. I want to keep the cover on, so I'll cut a slit in that to poke it through. The original towing eye sits really close to the cover, and may possibly mean it's too close to do anything with, so it may have to be mounted further back.
