YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Just ordered a CR Hybrid K04, turns out there hybrid is the same as the TD stage 4 hybrid without all the mumbo jumbo BS spec and he said with the correct setup 320bhp+ could be achieved and wait for it, its cheaper to, i bought the turbo outright rather than an exchange, while the price difference is only £100 or so this will offset the price of the 440cc injectors.

Nice one mate but 320 ? Lol what drugs they taking , I'm guessing you rr when it's l fitted set up will be around the 295-305 bhp , that's my guess , really want to no what the mani is like tho be good to get pics with them together To see the difference

what about bill he made 318 on the same turbo on a s3. and thats without methanol.

and how much you pay for the turbo mate? i brought mine 2nd hand off here, just need to fit it with the same mani and also the water meth then get the car mapped and see what she pulls. im hoping for 320 too but only time will show what will actually pull.

255ftlb tho I would rather have higher torque and lower bhp , bhp pub talk torque is what matters , think it was 314 bhp as well that's my guess tho I'm not an expert :)

I dont think you understand, not all hybrids are crap, the two you refer too were both using standard manifold and exhaust downpipe, get a uprated manifold and downpipe and the difference is probably night and day ;)

Paid £970 to my door, Id say more TBO, Bill got 314hp on a standard mani.

He mentioned there was a problem reading the correct torque so i cannot see any reason why over 300lbft cannot be achieved

Correct, i dont see any reason why i should not get a high figure, 320+ hopefully. WMI, High flow Mani, 3"Dp, race cat(aka full BF TB), Injectors, FMIC, Rods, etc....

Have just sat and read though the whole thread, engine bay looks amazing! Really love the colour of the wheels, they go perfectly with the car. Some mega mods you have done mate, im sure it'll be a monster once finished, nice job!

hi mate is this the 1 you got and do you have to state if for left or right handed vehicle. also the kit you need you got a link for that?

i look forward to seein yours as mine not going to be ready till end of oct once engines back in car.

Paul you have spent loads on your car don't go for a hybrid it's a waste , go gt28 at the least , gt30 ftw

If youve done rods and internals to strengthen the engine, then the way forward is a big turbo otherwise it will be a waste, if you have standard internals and want a bit more oommppphh, then hybrid :)

im hoping will engines cost 4 k all in for rebuild :) but will be good for 8500rpm and 650 bhp if i want to in the future, have a slight overbore so nearly a 1.9, heads ported and polished, just not decided if bt or stick with hybrid till get bored of it or skip the step and go bt
