I am getting the splash guards yes. I have the Audi TT Quattro ones so I will need a spacer however that should be much of an issue.Rear brakes
You're going where I need to (very soon).
Are you replacing with LCR calipers and heat shields/splash guards (rear LCR ones do not need spacers (as per thread - Pat)). Ditching the shields/guards?
Basically a how to as I've seriously got to sort out the rears soon.
Right I think its about time I stepped up my game on the detailing front and seeing as my old rotary polisher that was given to me died I decided to buy this.
- A powerful 1100w motor for better handling and shorter processing times
- Engineered handle and grip areas for greater operator comfort and reduced vibration
- A long 4 metre lead
- Spare set of brushes
- Large buffer head for better handling
- Amazing Power to weight ratio
- Only 1.8kgs in weight (bare weight), makes it easier for upright operation
- Adjustable speed, 1000 to 3000rpm by digital LCD display
- 12 month UK Warranty
It should help me achieve better results as its much more power (needs to be treated with respect for sure) and with time hopefully make the process quicker. Cant wait!
Look for calipers from FWD cars (Golf, Audi, Skoda) from the mk4 gen.Are the LCR ones (non spacer apparently) difficult to get hold of?
Depends what sort of results I get with the DA and whether I get it in time. You using this on saturday maz....?

Hi Poliq,Hello there!
First of all, I'm sorry if you find my post hard to read and/or understand, but here it goes.
During the last couple of months i've been plowing through this thread of yours. And i must say that I'm amazed how thorough you seem to be with every last little mod you have set your mind on doing. Allways considering the other options etc. Also most of them are well documented and often with pictures, so this have been an entertaining read-up on your beautiful leon!
That beeing said, I must ask: How did you fix the increased negative camber at the rear wheels? (might be just me missing it though..)
Also, have you ever considered the following;
- Honey comb upper grille
- Smoked/tinted rear lights
- Blank rear indicators (light becomes yellow, rendering the bulb invisible)
A big from Norway!
e: I've been lurking around the scn.net for a while, mostly for info. Couldn't see why my first post shouldn't be in here!
Looks pretty good. If a bulb goes I will definitely consider it.Yeah I know AmD fixed it for you, it's just that in mine 20mm lowered '02 reg cupra 4 TDI there is no way of adjusting the camber in the rear. I've seen various items (bushes, mounts and bars) that is supposed to fix this issue, but havent made up my mind yet. Any hint in any direction would be great!
Went outside and took these for you. I imagine they'd work on a platinum as well!?

what my rear lights look like atm. I ain't allowed to post links yet!
I dont think I could sleep not knowing its not with meThat wheel is pretty sexy Maz but that doesnt mean you have to take it to bed with you
Thanks for the kind words. I know keep saying this but I really do appreciate people reading through the RR and commenting. At the end of the day if people are taking an interest they deserve a response and I am glad to have their input good or bad.Steering wheel is lovely mate! Best rr on the forum in my opinion but I would be biased wouldn't I? Most of what ive started to change on my FR is a result of reading this blog.
Keep up the good work - you have a stunning car.
Will the Leon airbag fit straight into that, it looks to be the same shape ?
