question: on the mark 5 cupra the 4pot sport brakes are an option, is this also the case for the mark4 cupra or are the AP racing brakes standard?

More info...... OP's Retaining pins : CP6607-31 is actually a full retaining pin set + pads+retaining springs.

Correct order code just for the pins is...... CP7600-109 @ a massive £1.28 each!!!!

Wow, makes you wonder how Seat can charge £143 for the LCR Brembo pins and springs (no pads)!!

Apart from the pins being slightly longer for the LCR, the set is almost identical [:@]

Where did you get them from mate? I rang AP Racing and they said to go through one of their distributors :help:

Just done brakes all round...one awful ordeal that took the ENTIRE weekend. Writeup and pics to follow...

But for now...

Pads EBC Red Stuff:
Fronts: DP3036C £79.99 For cars with AP Calipers
Rears: DP3680C £40.07

Discs
D930 £69.08 312mm EBC Standard discs
D816 £32.86

Then AP Pins £1.84
Bleed screws £2 each
Bleed screw rubber cap 98p each
Or something like that anyway...

All in for £240 quid or so I guess. It hurts but I'd rather not have left it with SEAT, or a local garage who would have got in a mess and called me to explain! :wtf:
