Seat Sport Cupra brake caliper info

Situation is this: Car is a Cupra but only has standard 312mm brakes on it. I'm guessing at some point the AP calipers seized up so rather than having them refurbished or buying new calipers a previous owner removed them and put standard calipers on.

I have sourced a pair of AP calipers, I've sent them off to be fully refurbished. When I get them back I just need to know if I need anything else to fit them onto the Cupra?

Cant find caliper parts

Hi,

I having a real struggle finding a company who sells most the parts for the caliper.

I have found a company called Auto Performance Products
This is the link to the parts for the caliper a-pp.com/Catalogue/Car-Specific/Seat/Seat-Sport-Calliper-Repair-Parts[/url]

I need the Fluid Brige Pipe CP6607-29CR3 but they don't have any in stock and I can't find any other company who does have them.

I have tried to contact them to ask when they'll be in stock but I've had no reply.

Does anyone know another company who sells these parts?

Thanks

Demon tweeks carry AP spares, had to get some ordered for me, but came through with everything I needed.

A few pics confirming part numbers and prices. The seal kit contains 4 piston seals, 4 dustboots, 2 bleed nipples and 2 small o rings which I have yet to work out? Basically one side.
Demon tweeks held the order back waiting for bleed nipples, that I ordered individually, neither of us realising they are included in the kit!

Thanks for compiling all this info—it’s incredibly helpful for anyone working on these calipers! The details about pad compatibility and the retaining pins are especially useful. I’ve also heard of people running into trouble with seized retaining pins on AP Racing calipers, and your mention of corrosion on the bridge bolts/sleeves makes a lot of sense as a potential culprit.

When I faced similar issues, I found soaking the pins with penetrating oil overnight and applying heat helped free them, but in some cases, cutting them out really was the only option. As for replacements, if the Seat fitting kits seem too pricey, I’d recommend looking at suppliers of used auto parts—sometimes you can find kits or even spare calipers at a fraction of the cost.

Also, the tip about Ferodo DS2500 pads is a gem—I’ve used them on other setups, and the performance difference is noticeable. Definitely worth considering for anyone looking to upgrade.

Thanks again for putting this together! Making it a sticky would definitely save a lot of people time and frustration.
