thats what puts me off although there probally isnt much if any negative effect.
And I'd just get some secondhand alloy ones, just keep an eye out on edition38 and that. Them delta mics are good for the money brand new but so heavy and just galvanised steel.

Dropped in at work on the way home from full time work and it was still open so picked up my milltek turboback 
the box was massive and wouldn't fit in the car so had to take it all out. Got it home an took all the bubblewrap etc off and got some pics:

Gonna wait till after the weekend until it goes on as I'll be driving 270 odd miles for a birthday weekend away with the gf. Aiming to have it fitted and mapped in 2 weeks time

Haha yeh I was mega excited! Just abit annoying the silencers have a couple of little dents and that in them!

Just sorted my spacers out now , They were the ones mike posted.. Bit heavy but you really dont notice anyting.. Its probably had no effect at all!

No worries mate, I know how it is! Didn't take too long really and wasn't too bad of a job except actually squeezing the fooker behind the coolant pipe and onto the turbo!

Yeh you won't really notice anything bit it's just extra rolling mass like a heavier wheel over a lighter one.
thats my thought,i put lightweight 6.8kg wheels on my old car and the difference it made was massive although obviously that was on all four corners.
Yeh I'd love some proper lightweight wheels for the cupra but there's none around 2nd hand at the mo and don't fancy paying full price one bit!

Had it at 20 and my fr at 19 and I had a 1.8 Sri corsa c at 18 so always been hammered with insurance haha fr wasn't bad tbh! But yeh the cupra hammers me tbh. Hopefully will come down now I'm 21 haha
Booked in for mapping too, 3 weeks this Saturday, longer than I wanted but the bloke is getting married so no worries there from me, will be worth the wait I hope
