Just measured it, M18 x 2.5mm Pitch.

You'll need a 15.5mm drill to tap it.

I would find the tap for you as well, but I'm not sure if your doing a blind hole or through hole.

For the price of the material, and the drill and tap you will only use once, I'd find a local metric machine shop :). I'd get it done for you but we are primarily imperial due to having American customers, we do have some metric taps, but nothing "exotic".

Cheers I will try and get a M18x2.5 left hand thread bolt, would seem a lot easier then drilling and tapping.

It's really easy to work with the standard towing eye it's not hardened or anything. I just lopped it off and drilled to 9mm with regular cobalt drill bits and a cordless drill then tapped out to m10 x 1.25 and wound the bolt in, simples m

Sounds good Ape, did you go for Blueflame in the end? I ordered my Turbo Back system with 100 cell cat on the 5th of this month, along with some other goodies. Just waiting on delivery now :).

The power increase is the main gold, although I'd like it to have the rasp under hard use, sounding like a jet would be cool too.

As for the meet tomorrow, it's unlikely bud as I'm working in Weston and its a bit of a trek back up to go back again.

My car sounds like a jet....

Some pictures matey:

dont think you will get that jet engine noise you want. I have had mine on since august i think same as what your getting turbo back with 100 cell has a nice note but not agressive i dont think although havent been outside to hear. Maybe louder with a remap though as mine is standard. Love the wheels by the way had thought about spraying mine yellow or something lol but shall wait and see. (not the lambo as they shall be off).

liking the tow hoop aswell i want.please

I think the Jet noise is the boost, which will be upped with the remap.

Hi bud, dont suppose you have a pic of how your tow strap in connected at the mo.

thanks

Not at the moment, will get you one at the weekend. It's a bolt within a bolt arrangement.

Hey ape forgot to ask where did you get the black hoses for your catch can. Thanks in advance

Mark

eBay, they were advertised as oil resistant, whether its marketing bull or not I'm unsure, but wasn't too dear. I got 2m of pipe, and elbow and T piece. All 19mm for not very much, delivered next day too. I need some 90degree connectors to attach to the catch can to lower the piping, as I can't put my engine cover back on at the moment :censored:
