PZero's are fitted to a number of supercars, Pirelli's site says:

"The new P Zero has obtained 15 homologations for use as original equipment on the most recent and most prestigious supercars. It is already being fitted to the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the Lamborghini Murcielago and Gallardo, the Audi R8 and S8, the Aston Martin DB9, the Maserati Quattroporte, the Jaguar XK, the Mercedes AMG, and will shortly appear on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and the hottest Porsche and BMW models. I am using P-zero corsa's at the moment on my 17" track wheels.. They are fantastic in the dry! Grip, grip and more grip, doubt they will last long though. They are night and day difference from the rossos that are fitted as standard..but that is expected!!

I got one of those tiny keychain mini DVR cameras so thought I'd put it in the car and go for a play! I did a couple of acceleration tests, I have no idea if people think this is fast, slow or average, etc., so tell me what you think.

I did not launch the car hard, one from from a stop and one was rolling. Feels quite quick from inside the car but maybe it's not!?! Sound is very low.

Hard to say really up to 60 takes about 9-10 secs on both clips, second one a bit quicker. Its hard to judge in gear acceleration though. Need to record at a steady 40mph for a few secs then plant it.

I managed to find somewhere in the UK that had the new Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 in stock, one set of 4 left, so I ordered them and cancelled the Pirellis!

Cool videos about them:

A bit yes!

New tyres are being fitted next Wednesday, looking forward to getting them on.

I moved my WMI nozzle to the intercooler pipe just after the exit of the intercooler, I also went down in size from D04 to D03, I increased the pressure of the pump too, to compensate for the smaller nozzle but also to improve the atomisation with higher pressure. The nozzle is now in position 3 shown on the diagram:

"Also placing the injection nozzle as far from the cylinders/air intake sensor as possible, it allows for the water/methanol mixture to be better absorbed into the intake air charge. This allows for great distribution to each cylinder. This post intercooler nozzle location should be the primary nozzle location to be considered for most users.

In theory, since the air charge will be mixed for a longer distance, and therefore time, allowing for the moisture to be absorbed by the air, creating the coolest possible air charge going into the cylinders. Water/methanol molecules from a nozzle located here have more time to be absorbed by the intake charge exiting the IC before making it into the combustion chamber.
"

It definately works better, I could see the intake temps dropping faster and further as the WMI came on, a D03 nozzle seems to be the ideal size too. I've also upgraded from using the basic check valve to the electronic solenoid, to prevent syphoning under vacuum.
