Not too sure about figures TBH.
It's flowing 210 g/s at the MAF which is about 260 BHP.
I'm going for torque more than BHP.
I'm going for rev 2 tomorrow which will give more torque between 3 and 5,000 RPM :)

Will be on a RR some time but not in the near future

Torque is what it's all about and ultimately what gives you real world performance. Mine's running just under 300lbft and pulls like a train mid range which makes it fantastic out of the corners. (I just need that diff!! ;))

I'd like to think I'll end up about this.
Not much difference between mine and 350 ft-lbs MK2 LC's to 80 so she's pulling well now with more to come.
Ended the 104,000 mile life of all 4 coil packs this past few days, must be some sort of record anyway, lol

They also dont look as filthy as the black ones do all the time either :) Nice example of a silver one, looks great. Hope that you manage to get the footage of your track run ok, would be great to see her in action.

agreed  damn dirty all the time even after you clean it thanks to the volcanic ash

So, Snetterton tomorrow and just finished preparing the car. A couple of days ago I fitted another set of Yellow Stuff pads to the front brakes as they were getting pretty low and the last thing you need is your pads giving up in the middle of a track day.

This afternoon I removed the OEM airbox and fitted the obligatory Jetex cone filter. I also adapted the 3" feed I had running to the airbox so I get as much flow as possible.
I'm reserving judgement on whether this set up yeilds any improvement and I'm taking the Airbox with me incase I decide that it's not really doing anything. The one thing I will say though, is that the car sounds awesome with the cone filter on ;)

A few pics......

new setup. Not really feeling the red and blue though, looks like a fisher price toy!!

can I see eccentric top mounts in one of your pictures? Do you use them for extra negative camber?

Well, Snetterton was pretty much a resounding success I think. Car ran well all day long and surprisingly didn't seem to suffer any heat soak despite the hot weather.
We had a lot of friends turn up to drive our shared E36 328i track car so I spent all day giving passenger rides too so I never once went out on my own.

The LCR also proved to be quicker than my mates 993 Carrera 2 as well which was good to know so although his lower end torque pulled him out at the start of the straight I was reeling him in by the braking point and had far superior traction in the bends but then that was to be expected.

There was also Mk1 Leon FR there which had been chipped and wasn't sluggish either, (until he popped the pipe of his turbo!) And after lunch DannyC87 turned up and came for a spin for a few laps.

There's a few photos here and I'll put up the video when I get it off the camera. there seems to have been a lot of vibration transmitted through the camera mount which is disappointing though as I've seen good results with this mount. I'll have to work on some kind of damping for next time.

Oh and I think I'll get one more trackday out of the R888s. Maybe 2 if I swap fronts to rears for next time.

Sounds great, I'm really glad there was no spills and especially glad you scalped a Porsche.

I surprised a Ferrari F430 and an 07 plate RS4 the other day, great to show guys that LCRs can go well.

With a diff on you'll be pulling out of the corners like your mate in the Porsche does

You maybe right, I could have done with it at Brands which is a much tighter, technical circuit but Snetterton is a much more balls out circuit and I had very little wheel spin there purely because most of the corners are pretty fast.

The porsche pulled away initially because of the usual lag any turbo car suffers from. That being said, maybe if I had a boost guage I would find it easier to keep the engine in the sweet spot.

Looks great mate!

What did you use to push your Jetex filter right into the wing?

Thanks, Just a length of 80mm silicon hose cut to size. It's a bit experimental but I was pleased with how it performed and I've got a 3" cold air feed running to it from the front fog which perhaps helps a bit (although of course the air doesn't need to be cold for a turbo car ;) but let's not start that discussion again!)

Oh, and it sounds like a monster at full chat! Which is always nice
