What remap have you got? And what intercooler?

Not the TIP hose but black OEM hose that feeds onto diverter valve from left as look into engine bay
Was wondering if can order through SFS or Forge
Or is it not important one to replace??

I bought the custom intercooler kit from stu_pot off this forum, metal pipework etc I have a AmD stage 1 remap atm. Once I get my downpipe and sports cat, I'm tempted by the custom code VVT attack to try and break the 300bhp barrier, this will be dependant on seeing a few more LCR's with this software and results verified on other rolling roads

I am still on standard intercooler but have milltek exhaust and sports cat and Custom Code stage1 with 007dv green sfs TIP and turbo hoses
green cotton filter in smoothed box with air feed need fmic before go stage 2
Seen custom ones on fleebay from Greman company

I've just got back from an awesome weekend at the Nurburgring.

We only did 4 laps and i didnt do any timing. I wasnt interested in seeing how fast i could go round...i was just happy to go round comfortably and keep my car in one piece!

It really is an awesome track though. As we only did 4 laps, the rest of our time was spent either at a viewing point, or blasting around the amazing roads that surround the ring.

Now for the important bit ........

Looks v quiet on track plus good weather were there loads of porsches and Beemers going round??

Weather was beautiful the whole time...clear skies and 30 degrees!

Apparently it was very quiet compared to how busy it can get. I wouldnt like to be on there when it was any busier though.

As can see my profile pic is in carpark after putting on THE sticker!!
The drive from petrol station below track as head off had some nice bends to drive

George...thats brilliant, thanks for finding that for me. Seems that pic is from the same lap as the pic i posted, as i had a passenger for my other 3 laps. Will have a look on that site now!

To be honest when i realised we were going on the same weekend as Inters i was pretty gutted. But nevermind, i couldnt have had a better weekend really!

Quick question for you, and I've noticed it on your car before. How come the area behind the fog light grills is red? It should be black, either it's been re painted the wrong colour or a black plastic piece has been removed? Anyway, it would look a lot better black in my opinion.

Also can I have some more pictures of the colour of your wheels please, I have some saved on my computer already but they look perfect with the red paintwork

I had the bumper painted when i first bought the car George but i dont know if there should be some plastic inserts or something in there. Can you look on yours and see if there is something there or if its just painted black??

Unfortunately i dont know the exact colour. The bodyshop used Jet Black with something else thrown in there to make it a little less black. I didnt want them straight black as they would look blacker than the tyres and to me that looks wrong.

Looks nice mate. I'm not a fan of gloss black wheels and now exactly what you mean about looking shinyer than the tyres.

How were the F1s on the track?

Just ran outside and looked at my front bumper, there are plastic inserts behind each grill. Try Etka, I did have a look for you but I think google chrome isn't in the mood tonight.

there is plastic ducting behind the fog lights for the smic's but the rest of the bumper should be black as well, i.e. you shouldn't be able to see any red behind the honeycomb plastic ducting or not
