really like this - great improvement from standard 1.2 anyway :)

theres a yellow cupra near me that has a similar chequered flag design down it - but it doesn't pull it off anywhere near as good as you do

Cheers mate, should be easy enough to fit..

just jinxed it :(

not as easy as you think mate, MrNormas brother fitted mine because hes a professional signwriter and it tane him a good wee while to line up and prepare the car using cleaners and anti static spray etc etc.....he done a belter of a job tho

saw that car aswel behind the collage a few times in falkirk uo from screw fix, hmm i will spend some time on it n see what happends :)

Just take your time and dont rush it, if the car has polish or wax on it then its time to get out the fairy liquid to strip it all off and then make sure the surface is well rinsed and dry. Any wee bits of dust or grit will show up.

As for lining them up use a bit of masking tape and run it along the car where you want the edge of the squares to sit. Make sure you do it in sections and not in one big go. Use something flat and smooth to push them flat onto the car.

Best do it with two people. Stick one end down and as someone pulls it over the roof pulling the cover off the other smooths them onto the roof.

Patience is a virtue when doing this so dont rush it.

Think im gonna look at selling again after october. depending how financies are. if not it should be after new year. Just fed up of low power. I love the look of it but i dno, fancy a change. Still fancy an FR Tdi but maybe i should widen my options. will see nearer the time, i.e. once im back from florida.

my options are-----keep the car the way it is just now and advertise it like that for more ££££ and just start from scratch with mods on the next beast

or

wait a while longer and save, put the beezer to standard and sell it, and keep the parts for the next beezer if i get one.

I know what you mean fella. I love my lil ibiza but the "leisurely" speed is starting to get a bit tiresome now..... Especially when my mate just got a 1.8T leon........

I'd say if you were gonna get a new one, start from scratch......... or you could drop a new lump in your current one lol

Save up and buy a Mk5 1.6 Tdi... Powerful enough and only £30 per year on road tax iirc... [B)]
