Tbh mate unless they're SCN users not many people would pay the extra/notice the difference with the mods. Personally I'd say remove the pricey mods and either sell them or put them on another car. I'd personally stick with a MK4 for the looks and great prices but its up to you fella, at the end of the day its gotta suit you really

Shame really, you've got probably the best looking car on here

Save up and buy a Mk5 1.6 Tdi... Powerful enough and only £30 per year on road tax iirc... [B)]

I agree, but that ones hideous.

Something like this would be a bit more tasty :)

Don't sell it as is, you will earn so much more selling the bits but if you love your car (which you do) go for an engine transplant and you said your brother works for seat if i remember correctly? Could he help with it?

He seems to be talking sense even a couple of grand to do it is an hell of a lot cheaper than buying something else and a FR/Cupra is going to cost a fair bit and not be as personalized!

Hmmmm something about engine plants scare me..... Im sure you could pick up a cheap engine these days, just got to remember you have all the wireing, brakes, ecu, etc to do and not just the engine.

O can you let you bro know i will need to come see him again. Strut tops still need a bit more of a tighten and something is rattling from when i hit the curb. Sounds like brakes.......

What else thou bigger brakes front and rear (need different hubs maybe) structurally there maybe be some differences too I do not know what that maybe. If I were you I'd get an an older FR and throw all your parts on it. The insurance and trying to sell on a an ibiza with different engine in may be hard work unless you put an amazing big engine in there who would buy it?
