don't you have to be going at a really fast speed and slam on so the ABS is on for at least 2 seconds? I imagine it'd be hard to test out, wouldn't fancy volunteering

leaving home...?

thought i was smart by working out how to switch on leaving home lights for 40secs yesterday. Just noticed though that the lights will always come on when car is unlocked, even with lights not in the ON position (if that makes sense?). Not really a big issue but would have liked it to perform as per the coming home function (i.e. lights left on when unlocking car). Is there a check box somewhere that im missing to do this?

any tips would be appreciated,

no, it seems to depend on age of car/which control module is installed on the behaviour. Mine is like yours, always comes on regardless of switch.

Mines an 07 reg frtdi and lights only come on when unlocked if switch is in on position

Just found one that might of use for people with aftermarket radio installs where a Scan will throw up the following error:

A more indepth explaination can be round on Ross-Tech here.
Do the following:

1) Clear the DTC
2) Go to 19 Can Gateway
3) Installation List
4) Uncheck 'Radio' and 'Navigation'
5) Apply/Save Settings
6) Turn car off
7) Turn car on
8) Run scan again

And whola error gone

I did this the other day for Scott. Its the top number that you see 0006401 change that to 0000401 and then hit Do It!

Just disables the Boing whenever you put a bottle of water on the passenger seat
Just take a note of the number and you can aways put it back.

I think you might have xenon lights on your car, if so, you would want to change it to 0004401.

You need to log channel 115

I use the geniune Ross-tech VCDS. I,m on version 908 so must be different values to your hardware

activated my remote window closure
only worked once now it wont even work.
double checked the coding and still no luck
anyone got any idea what has gone wrong
someone pass me their long code so i can compare
