When i took my Leon to SEAT the other week to get valued, the salesman asked if it was a non standard alarm. I just told him a different garage activated the beeps, so he didnt think i had been messing with it.

And for anyone who is interested, i still have my cable for sale.

Interested on your cable. Tried send you PM but seemed you are running out of the quota there...
Contact me as you will.

I can't connect to 46 too.
My car is a Leon FL 2010 1.8TSI DSG and my version is 908.

:help:

After a little digging there is no Module 46 on the Facelift Leon it's under Module 9 Central Electrics.

However still no further forward as I haven't got a clue what each of the Bytes are under Module 9 as the Long Coding Helper says it has no data for my ECU.

I'll get there but it might take a little time

you can go into each module that shows an error and clear them individually! then it will scan that module again if it comes back up it means its current

It doesnt let me clear them, just comes up with the warning that its not a licensed copy.

Also doesnt show the balloon with the list of options to edit settings.

Am I being stupid???

Well I ended up sending back my cable I bought As I couldn't get it to work. After messing around I managed to get a new 908 cable and software delivered from a chap in the uk for 42.50 and this works a treat. Now have all the labels and can do everything now. So if people are having a problem with the 704 cable i suggest you upgrade to a 908 one

The cable arrived yesterday and after a good play about with it it works perfectly, make sure your wireless is turned off while your plugged in and away it goes with the supplied VCDS version 805, wicked bit of kit for £25 can't fault it!!

For the struts:

Go to:
www..strutsdirect.co.uk/components/fixed-force-gas-struts-sd02-range.php?products_id=1080

[0] Gas Strut Type: Fixed Force Gas Strut - F-SD02-200
[1] Force N (Newtons): **Between 500-550NM**
[2] Rod End Fitting: Steel Ball - SBJ7
[3] Tube End Fitting: Steel Ball - SBJ7
[4] Rod End Bracket: Not requiered
[5] Tube End Bracket: Not requiered.

Total should be £35.72, £6.96 P+P, £7.47 VAT = £50.14

The combination of the strut length along with the end fittings, makes the struts prefect size for size of our standard ones.

I suggest people wait and see how i get on with the 520NM struts, hopefully they will be ok.

Ross27 - How did you get on with the 520NM struts? I'm still looking to do this mod.

They were perfect for the two days i used them. I sold my car and sold the struts to a guy in Denmark i think it was MadsenTDI. So you may be best to ask him how he got on with them.
