Nice and healthy logs, Chris :)

Cheers Damo. :) What does CF stand for? I take it those logs with the positive CF's are ok then?

I'm surprised you've gone for the Powerflex DBM bush as this can be very harsh and cause moving off issues.
Also surprised you've gone for Powerflex ARB bushes, have you confirmed these will fit your new ARB?

Cheers Willie. :)

I thought Powerflex was the one to go for? Yes I agree they create more vibrations but I don't mind the trade-off if it means more grip/less wheelhop.

I've not bought the ARB bushes as my Neuspeed ARB's will come with their own bushes.

Do you think its worth changing all the bushes i've ordered? I may have been naive just presuming the Powerflex would stiffen the whole car up and make it more solid on the roads.?? Any advice would be great - I can always sell the Powerflex bushes if they won't do any favours to my car.

cf = correction factor, Chris. Its the ECU pulling back timing. You want to try and keep it bellow 6 when doing a 4th gear log.

Thats a fair splash of cash but will notice a big difference after all this is on.

Does this price include 4 wheel alignment?

yeh that includes the 4 wheel alignment. I've just put a deposit down as all the parts I need are instock. Just waiting for my powerflex bushes to turn up now, then another call to Awesome to get car booked in.

Looks like i'll be leaving car at Awesome as they think all that work can be done in 8 hours, but if they come across any problems then they will run out of time. Arranged to use their courtesy car :)

I've gone for the Pipercross airfilter as the K&N is oiled, i'm worried about the MAF screwing up with the K&N range. The pipercross is a drier alternative plus its cheaper than the K&N.

Ordered new top mounts too, no point in leaving any weak parts in place as everything else will be brand new.

Let the wait commence.

hey bud, nice car and cool thread...i guarantee one of the best, or in fact 'the' best mod will be the HIDS i bet you lol...

I put my diane-shop HIDs in last night. I struggled with finding a suitable loaction for the drivers side ballast......ended up using the supplied brackets and screwing it to a exisiting bolt.

Where did you put your ballasts? Any pics? On my old TDI there was a lovely area for the ballast.....but on the LCR the twintercooler pipe stops you putting the ballast down there.
