I see what your saying mate but if the R owners are using these coolers with 2.25 for 270bhp then I don't think thats Dan's problem.

How do you now your boosting 10psi Dan? is it boosting 18-20 then dropping to 10 on the gauge or is it only boosting 10 full stop?

Edit.....you just answered the question lol

how bad does the car feel dan??

Well off boost it's smooth as normal, on boost it starts to pull but as soon as it peaks at 10 psi it drops off quickly, sometimes it doesn't drop as fast though.

Here's a good point I forgot to mention and may well point to the DV, even before I fitted the new intercooler I was getting boost leak problems although not as bad as this, before I was peaking 21 then it would drop to about 13psi.

test the dv dan, only takes 2 mins....

you checked the vac pipes under the inlet manny?

so peak boost is 10psi??

really need to see vagcom log to see whats being requested

if peaking at 10 psi only, maybe n75 fault... you looked at the pipes from n75 to charge pipe?

Trying to think what to use to bung the holes with lol?

The pipe from the FPR to the inlet manny I changed for new silicon hose, are there others?

There was also two runs of vac pipe alongside the manny that I disconnected but reconnected as I didn't have enough silicon pipe to replace.

dont need to bung anything to test the dv... take it off, push the piston up from under the valve and hold your finger over the top nipplke to see if the piston drops when you let it go from underneath

did you reconnect the vac pipes with jubilee clamps?

Which pipe is this mate there's so many in the bay I'm lost lol Got a pic to point these vac pipes out would help alot :)

where the n75 valve is, top right in engine bay, a pipe comes from this into the charge pipe, the connection is next to the dv connection pipe on the charge pipe, the smaller of the 2. trace this hose back to the n75 and see if theres any splits
