Best guess would be injectors hitting their limit, either that or the ignition is cutting back heavily. Fixable though!
 
259bhp thats rather a lot,theres nothing worse than dropping tools in the engine bay i lost an alan key and alan key bit in my bay when fitting the new south gasket managed to fish them out with a telescopic magnet though.
how long did it take to fit the manifold? im put off by fitting one for the reason of acsess its so tight round there.

On the test drive it was aparent that there is a magor boost problem.. Fluctuating boost quite bad. It also makes a metalic rattle between circa 4-5k RPM :shrug:
i would be a little worried about the flunctuation.
Did it start right after the mani installation?

now you make me have second thoughts about getting one of them as I hate that boost surging and it can also damage the turbo
